Day1 Pre-Trip
Today is Friday December 2nd Get all household stuff taken care of ,Dogs gone to my sisters to stay ,Myself wife Gill, Daughters Rachael and Hannah start the 310 mile drive to London Gatwick airport,
Drive was long with all the Friday traffic plus the cold drab weather didn’t help Went straight to airport and did Day before check in as we were travelling with first choice after giving her cases I kindly got informed wed still need to be at airport 90 mins before flight for security check and boarding pass collection,This annoyed me a little whats the point of day before check in if you still have to turn up early?! Anyway minor glitch I shrug it off and check in at the Holiday Inn where the car is staying for 15 nights,check in room and get this £3 for a mini tube of Pringles!! Dick Turpin wore a mask at least..!
