The Numbers Are In...From Our Moderate Trip

WOW, great job :) We stay value (with 5 children it's really the only way we could afford to take a Disney trip every year).

I keep all our receipts in my Passporter so I have a general idea of how much we will need the following year. Here is our breakdown....one day DH and I are going to stay Deluxe for this price ;) when the kids are older.

Pop Century Standard with free QSDP and 5 day base tickets for 8 nights (2 rooms; 2 adults, 2 Disney adults and 3 children): $3372.00
Table Service Meals (out of pocket character meals and F&W adult drinks): 1189.74
Gift Basket upon arrival for kiddos: 227.54
Kennel for the dogs while we were away: 660.00
Souvenirs: 986.10
Laundry: 25.00
Pressed Pennies: 15.00
Gas and Food for trip down and back: 446.00
MNSSHP Tickets: 398.05

Grand Total: 7319.43 (wow, actually 1000.00 less than I thought when I was estimating)

This doesn't include the 800.00 on tires and 350.00 on a new compressor for the air conditioner that I 'had' to spend the month before our trip so my DH would feel better about driving our 2003 car. It doesn't include the snacks, new socks and goody bags I'd packed for our trip either. Everyone always gets a new pair of socks for the trip so they are nice and cushie when walking through the parks and I spent roughly 75.00 on stuff to put in goody bags for the kids. Oh, or the costumes for MNSSHP....but those we would have bought anyway, for Halloween. Still, not half bad for a family of 7 :)
