D-Day

The alarm when off at 07:30, to give us plenty of time get sorted out. We got Logan up and headed of for help yourself breakfast. It was an ok breakfast. We went down stares to sit out side and what for the lift to the airport. The owner gave and got us and took us to a back entrance to Gatwick. When got throw security in about 10 mins so not to bad. When we got in and looked at the display screens we found out that our flight had bean delayed till 12:15, this meant a one-hour delay.

We had a look round the duty free and settled in for a wait. We took Logan to play on some of the games. £10 later and not that long we headed in to Weatherspoons for some food before we got on the plane. As we where eating it out gate number was displayed on the screen in there, gate 17. We headed off to the gate and found a long q whating to get in to the gate itself.

After about 20 mins in side the gate we stared loading. The seat was fine and every thing worked ok on the flight. I was glad when Logan went to sleep, as this meant that I could also go to sleep. He slept for about 2 hours, and I missed the Ice cream. It was the usual rush to get out of the plan the other side and it did not take too long. It took us about 10 mins to get throw passport control, and then about 20 mins to get our bags. These came out in the wrong caracole, on the upper class one. We did use the double drop for the bags to get to the main thermal. Kirsty went outside to have a smoke when I when to get the bags, and get the keys for the car. This took a long time to get the bags and Kirsty came down to find me. We had some one show us to where the car was, and then tried to get $5 of us for doing it. We only had quarters on us and she did not want them so she went empty handed.

It took us about 1 hour to get to the villa. On the way we stopped at Wallmart, witch is about 1 mile from the villa. I had forgotten the code to get the key out of the box, so there we where sitting out side with my laptop on to get the code. We got in and went to bed.

Glad that you arrived and silly you for forgetting the code to the villa door:goodvibes

Spellings is due to the fact that I am dyslexic, so it would not matter how mutch sleep I have. But thanks for the thought.

Oh dear I do apologise, I know I often get in a muddle when I am tired and I assumed that is what happened here. I hope I didn't upset you, so sorry.:sad1:

Glad that you had a good flight and that you and Logan got some sleep, shame about the ice cream. I can just picture you sitting down with your laptop trying to get the code to the lock box, good thing you had it with you. Your spelling may be interesting but the report is easy to read. Looking forward to hearing about the rest of the holiday.

Glad you got there safe and well Dave, even though a slight delay. Looking forward to reading the rest of your reports. :thumbsup2 Although I will be there myself in a week so will have to catch up with some of them when I get back!

Have a fab time & keep the sun shining for me. :goodvibes
