The Non-Catchy Title PTR

Lexi and Levi will be so surprised by CRT. Make sure to take pics of the look on their faces when they get to go into the castle, I bet the little kid will come out:goodvibes.

IASW, may not be my fav ride, but I am sure my kiddos won't be happy it is closed. I don't despise it, but one time per trip is enough.:rotfl:

How does it feel now that Sept. has hit? Your trip is so close!

Great tip on getting a pic of them when going into the castle :thumbsup2.
It's hard to the get song out of your head if you ride IASW more than once. Heck, it's hard after just time.

I feel great & panicked that Sept is here! I keep thinking of everything I need to do!

I don’t think we will be getting up too early today since we will stay out late the night before.

Of course, the 1st thing we will do is run to TSM!!! Ride & get fast pass for later.

The last time we were here, for some unknown reason I thought TOT would be too scary for Lexi & Levi. We didn’t even go near it. My coworker who went to WDW a couple weeks after me told me there was like 3 or 5 year olds that was riding on TOT. I was so mad at myself!
So our main goal for today is ride TOT.

Other 1st that I definitely want to make sure we do:
Indiana Jones Stunt Spec
Rock n Roller Coaster

We may watch the HSM3 parade. Lexi was able to join in last time!

We are eating lunch at Sci-Fi at 11:30. Who cares about the food! I just want to get a picture of Lexi & Levi in one of those cars!

And, hopefully after we have conquered everything in DHS we will go to WDW to watch the Electrical Parade!
I’ll shop in the Main Street stores while the rest of the family stakes out our seats early.

and watch the fireworks

On a side note, Brad & I have a small weekend trip by ourselves, the kids will be at g-parents & I'm so excited!!! :love2:
Having kids is the best thing in the world, but it is so nice just to be able to go out & eat together in peace sometimes:)

Next Chapter - Day 4

Hi Amy! We just got back (two days ago) from our Disney trip and I just wanted to let you know that we were thrilled with CBR!!!!! I had only stayed at the Poly and POR before and I was a little nervous about CBR and our room location and whether or not everyone would like it. Well, we did a split stay with CBR and then moved over to the Poly for the last few days and my kids did not want to leave CBR!

The rooms were about the same as POR, and small, but we expected that. We were in Aruba and had about a 6 or 7 minute walk to Old Port Royale but we did that no problem. (My kids are 12, 9, 6 and a just turned 5yr old, plus my mom who is in her 60's).

The food court was awesome, plenty of seating, tons of choices, really good. The gift shops were great (more stuff than the Poly) and the main pool rocked! My kids loved the smaller water park area, they all loved the slides and there were two hot tubs! Seriously, I adore the Poly and so I was thrilled when we moved there, but my kids liked the CBR pool and counter service much, much better!

We had our car down there, so we mainly drove to the parks, but I did take the bus home a few nights with the older boys if we stayed out for EMH and it was fine.

So enjoy the resort! Just thought I'd let you know, since I was worried b/c it was new to us.

Great day 3 plans! My DH and I LOVE ToT and RNRC, but Madison refuses to ride them (I think RNRC is a little intense for her anyways). A friend of mine said her niece was just at WDW and rode ToT....she's 5 years old! The only thing she didn't like were the ghosts, but she didn't mind the drop.

We ate at Sci-Fi on my birthday last year (I've eaten there a million times) and it was fantastic. I highly suggest someone gets a milkshake as their drink. So yummy!

Thank you so much for the great review & letting me know about CBR!!! You've just made my day :goodvibes
I'm glad to know your older boys loved the pool & slides. I couldn't tell by pictures of main pool on the web if it was sized just for younger children or not.
I'm really impressed that your kids liked the CBR pool better than the Poly.
The Poly would be my dream resort to stay at one day!

I hope you had a great trip & great weather the whole time. With 4 children, I know you stayed on the move the whole time!

Hi Amy!

Your DHS sounds great! I think the kids will love ToT...my niece did it at 3 and a half and we couldn't keep her off of it!! It's her favorite ride in all the world!

You'll love Sci fi....the food isn't horrid, and it's so much fun because it really feels like you're at a drive in! My sister and I have great childhood memories of watching all the new James Bond movies at the drivein!!

I know I keep saying it, but you have the cutest kids!!!

Hi Amy!
Day 3 plans sound great!! We had Sci Fi ressies but they got messed up when I called back and the dining people couldn't get it fixed! I thought the kids would get a kick out of it. Oh well, next trip!;)

Lexi and Levi are SO cute, they take the BEST pics!!!:cutie:

Yay for weekend plans alone! SOOO important for a couple with kids!! Good for you, enjoy!!!!:goodvibes

plans for the day sound good, but 1 tip i can offer, is to get the fast passes for TSM first then ride it, the time you will spend waiting stand by, could make your fast pass times 3 to 4 hours later, than if you get them right away, even if you have to wait 10 minutes in line to get the fast passes when you first get tehre.

:thumbsup2

Love your EP goals!! I hope you love WS as much as I do!!

Your Day 2 sounds great!! They are going to love their surprise!!

Day 3 plans are equally as nice. :goodvibes

Enjoy your time with DH!!

We will be at DHS this day too! I just can't wait to ride TSM last time it wasn't open yet. I got my kids on ToT, still not sure if they liked it.Youngest son didn't ride RNR last time but we'll see if he'll go now. We also had Sci-fi ADR for this day, but I changed it to thursday for lunch before fantasmic. I'm excited to eat here and get car pics too! All your pic's are so cute, how great Lexi got to be a part of the parade!

I'm curious to see how Lexi & Levi like RNRC. They did fine with Space Mtn. I'm a chicken when it comes to roller coasters, but I never let on in front of them! ;) I don't want them to be like me!

We will make sure one of gets a Shake at Sci-Fi, thanks!

That's funny about the James Bond movies at a real Drive-in. I never got the chance to go to a real drive-in. There was only one left around here when I was little, & it just showed dirty movies

I'm sorry your ressies go messed up! Thanks for the compliment on Lexi & Levi. I'm a picture-holic & they're pretty used to having to pose for me :teeth:. Levi has learned to go ahead & smile to get it over with!:rotfl:
We had a great weekend!

Thanks! We had a great weekend!

Great Day 3 plans! Your day 3 is our departure day and we'll be at MK too. :goodvibes

I hope to see you! I somehow need to figure out how I can remember who's going to be what park & on what day so I'll know who to be on the lookout for to say hi!

I'm glad Lexi got to be part of the parade because she was really big into HSM at the time.

We have a great date night this weekend. We spent the night away one night & brought the kids back with us for the next night. :)

Question

I have just looked at TouringPlans.com & by the crowd rating, it looks like I need to switch my Day 3 & Day 5 park days. But, because of my restaurant reservations, I don’t think I will be able to do this.
I’ve been looking at the online dining reservation & NOTHING is available.

The TP crowd rating does have me worried. :sad2: Does anyone know just how accurate the site is?

On my day 3 when I’m going to DHS,
TouringPlans has DHS listed as 3.6 & AK listed as 0.7

On my day 5 when I’m going to AK
TouringPlans has AK listed as 3.8 & DHS listed as 0.2

I want to switch, but like I said, I really can't because of Dining unless something becomes available.

Every other of my week plans look great by the TP crowd ratings.

Day 4- Tuesday, 21st

Epcot

This is our 2nd day at Epcot. We will complete what we did not finish on the 1st day and re-do our favorites.

We have dinner reservations this day at Garden Grill. We loved this restaurant the last time we were here!

One of the goals for today are:
Pick a Pearl from Japan. I’ve bought the Cinderella’s Carriage Pearl Cage from Ebay & I hope we get a pearl that will fit in it.

Has anyone bought this cage before & how did it work?

Next Chapter: Day 5 Plans

nice updates!! I wouldn't bother switching around everything. I've never used that site but I've been to WDW a ton of times that have been super light and even in busy crowds. We always had a plan + a fastpass plan. Assuming you get there at open and maybe take a small break mid-day and stay till close and take advantage of EMH, you will be fine. You will never see everything on a week long vacation. I lived there for a year and 1/2 and still didn't see everything and tried to go to a park on at least one of my days off! I would just stick with what you have. If you need any advice as to how to go about getting FP and using time..let me know!

Love all your plans, and your past trip pictures are so cute. Your kids are too cute.

Your plans look great to me, if you have dining ressies in place and it would be too hard to switch, I would just leave your days as is.

Yay for a night out just you and dh.

I wouldn't change around your day 3 and 5. I am sure even the 3's (almost 4's) aren't bad at all and you really wouldn't want to mess up your dining reservations.

Day 3- I haven't heard anything too horrible about the Sci Fi, some people really love it there. Haven't been before, but very much am looking forward to it this trip. ToT, yes your kids must do it!

Day 4- Haven't eaten at Garden Grill before or done the pick a pearl in Japan. Garden Grill sounds fun though. I have read quite a few tr's where they have used the carriage necklaces and everyone seemed very happy with them. Don't know if you are planning on visiting Innoventions, but there are some fun things to do there. Lexi and Levi should be tall enough to do the Sum of all Thrills which is a virtual rollercoaster.

I use touring plans just to see the crowd levels, but I don't let it affect my plans. A "3" day is nothing!

You're doing 2 things at Epcot that I'm also looking forward to..Garden Grill and Pick-a-Pearl...2 things I've never done! I also bought the Cinderella Carriage for my pearl. It's so cute! It is on the small side, but I'm sure it will be fine.

Thanks for all your advice & offer to help! That is so true that you cannot see or do everything in a week!

Thanks for the compliment on pictures & kids.

You're right, it probably will be just too much trouble to switch.

Yay for a night out just you and dh.

I think the Sci-Fi will be fun restaurant. We did 50's Prime Time the last time. We liked it, but I wanted to try a different one this time.

Garden Grill is a relaxing, laid back Character meal.

I had not totally decided on Innoventions. I've heard both reports that it's fun & others saying it's boring. I think we should try it & definitely do Sum of all Thrills. It sounds like it would be fun! Have you done it before?

I'm glad you said a '3' day is nothing. Comparing '3.8' to a '0.2' sounded terrible to me.
I wish a knew what the crowd rating were when we were there in Sept two yrs ago, because there were zero crowds the whole week!

We liked Garden Grill. It was neat doing the ride 'Living with the Land' 1st before eating the food we just saw growing on the ride.
Make sure you request to sit on the bottom level. It seems like you're by yourself in the high booths where the upper is all tables.

The Carriage is very cute & you couldn't beat the price!
