I fully expect the rest of the year to be released sometime this summer. Hopefully before August, but could be that late. We check in Oct. 17. Also, no PINs have been released for fall yet, so hopefully those go out soon. Last year they started going out on May 9.

From what I saw on the free dining board, discounts are:

30% off deluxe
20% off moderate
15% off value

Excludes BLT and GFV.

I am flexible (not sure) where I want to stay, so I might just take a chance and see if I can stack an Orbitz code on top of these once the discounts release to the general public.

the way I see it, if there was FD for Oct. 19-27, we would stay at ASSp. If there is a RO discount, we will stay at AKL. If there are neither, we will stay at Hilton Bonnet Creek and do more shopping and possibly go to other parks and use up some old no expiring days on tickets or use some previously purchased and heavily discounted 6 day expirations with PH's.

i feel for the folks who were planning a first trip and really hoping their days would be in the FD windows. I know how tight finances can be and trying to get the most out of it is so critical.

Cheers and you never know. when there are mass cancellations in mid Oct. you may see FD down the road.

Or perhaps Disney wanted to lock up other slow periods first and then might release other days.

i know i know, some will say they never do this, however, until today, Disney did not release the fall FD dates this early. so personally, anything goes now. same with RO discounts this early for the fall.

i would say that Disney is fine tuning discounts. the days of blanket RO and FD for large swaths of dates must be coming to a slow end given things probably are picking up at the parks...oh well...it was nice while it lasted.

I do have a 2nd Rez at the Dolphin for my week that would cost the same if I got 35 % off the YC but it looks like only 30 and I can still save $400 staying at the dolphin. I really love the dolphin but was really hoping to try the YC this year

If I have already have a package booked at Beach Club with quick service dining and it's just about paid off for October, what happens if a room only discount comes up for my dates?

Do I rebook and chance losing my garden view? Do they refund all the money and then I have to repay? I've never done this before.

Resort discount prices have always been "up to" a certain percentage. For example, POFQ would typically only get 5%, but some of the other moderates were up to 20%. Same goes for movies. This year, those two dropped off for any discount at all for this offer. AoA suites had their own available dates last year that were different than all of the other values.

just curious as to your at the dolphin. I have all taxes and resort fees in at the Hilton Bonnet Creek at $183.99 (AAA rate of $141.55) per night. oct. 20-30...would consider dolphin for sure.

You just call them to see if the discount can be applied to your reservation. If you have overpaid, they will refund any overpayment to your original form of payment.

So looks like i'm stuck waiting on room discounts for my dates. I guess at least I can try and be optimistic...my resort is not currently listed in the exclusions for the announced dates and the wording of the room discount portion just notes a date range vs all of the little date segments for FD.
