I think the authorities are looking for the cousin (SHerry Murphy) but have not found her yet to formally charge her. Sickening.

exactly. the kid died from starvation and from blunt trauma to the stomache. when they find her, she'll be charged.

Sick sick sick. Not only the family members, but also the welfare staff who are supposed to be responsible for the case.

There should be some heads rolling at the welfare department and whoever allowed the mother(who herself had been found to have abused and neglected (among various other things ie; burns etc.) to decide where these kids would be staying! What is wrong with our justice system that it is felt that 1st and foremost children should be with their biological parents. Obviously, there are some major problems in the way we think about what is best for these helpless victims. All the therapy in the world will not "fix" these poor kids. My heart breaks for them and for anyone in the welfare system who is depending on them to protect anyone!!

I just want to go hug those little boys and show them all of the love in the world. Just to imagine what all they have been through. Hopefully someone wonderful gets custody of them and can give them a mostly normal life without too much damage.
