The Night Before The Wedding...

I am having my parents keep my dress in their room where I will be getting ready. No one is getting ready in mine and DF's room because I am really OCD when it comes to things being clean and organized and I know I will end up being late because I will want everything clean in our room before we leave. lol. DF is gettin ready at a different resort.

You know, its funny how there are so many little details that you wouldnt think of until someone else mentions it. So, you make a good point. If the bride gets ready in the room that she and her husband will return to, like, will house keeping straighten up the madness? lol. I was also wondering if the room could be decorated for the night of :) once we return from the DP. Now I wonder, get ready in a seperate room...sheesh. So many decisions. lol

We lived together before the wedding as well and to be honest although it kind of would have been cool to spend the night apart, I really don't think I would have been able to get a good night's sleep without DH! (say it with me....awwww...)

It just would have felt weird to me to not have him there with me to fall asleep with and to wake up the next morning (at 3:45am for our MK and EPCOT shoots!) without him there saying "We're getting married today honey!" :goodvibes

House keeping usually comes around starting at 11am until they're done, if you're not coming back to the room until after 5 or 6pm than I think they will probably have been by or you can mention it to your planner to make sure they come by to straighten up before you get back.

I asked about decorating the room and I was told to speak to my planner about it. I guess your planner would then contact Disney Floral for the decorations.

I've already told DF that I definitely don't want to stay in different rooms before the wedding. By the time we get married, we will have lived together for 3 1/2 years so really, I just don't see the need. Also personally, I know I would have trouble sleeping without him there with me, and I would miss that moment of waking up together on our wedding day!

I was starting to think about all this and then DF told me that he didn't want to see each other at all before the wedding... And all I asked about was doing pictures ahead of time!! I think I have a romantic at heart in my DF, but don't tell him I said that!!

We are staying together the week leading up to the wedding but I will be staying with my parents in there 1 bedroom villa at the Boardwalk and James will be at the Beach Club Villas in our 1 bedroom. My MOH willl also be staying with me. I like the idea of not seeing him before the wedding though I am sure I will miss him.

Up until the night before the wedding we will be staying at BLT in a two bedroom with my parents. The night before the wedding, I will be at the GF with my MOH and DF will be at BLT with my parents. I can't wait!

We got there a few days before the wedding and then the day before the wedding we checked out of our room and I stayed with my mom, MOH(one of my sisters), and my brothers daughter, son, and then my other sisters two daughters!!! We had a full room and my DH stayed with just his parents lol We both stayed at the GF so it was kinda hard when we both left the room that we didnt see each other! But it was soo much fun having my nieces and nephews jumping on me screaming HAPPY WEDDING DAY AUNT ASHLEY!!!!

I really want to have our wedding there, but the wife doesn't want to. She says that we can have a honeymoon there though.

I am just researching for some sort of work around to entice her to have our wedding there. Any suggestions?

Thanks in advance.

Jordan

I had my own room, and DH (then DF) shared a room with my two sons! :goodvibes We are kind of old-fashioned though, we didn't live together beforehand either.
