There's been rumors floating around about a celebrity version of Survivor...could that be the big announcement?

Let's play a game and make up our own teams - Two tribes of 8 each with an even number of males and females. Movie stars, TV celebrities, models, politicians, athletes...

Who would you love to see eating rice, sleeping in a hut, and sweating through challenges for 39 days?

I'll get it started and say Jessica Simson and Nick Lachey (but on different tribes!)

Anyone else have any ideas?

I want to see Jessica Simpson also
how about that annoying Britney Spears
Simon Cowel (??) from american idol with his $1000 pants and manicures
Paris Hilton

Omg, Simon and Paris on Survivor!! Bwahahaha!! I would LOVE to see that!!!

David Letterman, Jerry Seinfeld, Ben Stein, Jeff Probst, Dan Rather, Paris Hilton, Katie Couric, Julia Louis-Dreyfus, Scooter Girl from AI, Hillary Clinton.

I actually had an idea for a Survivor series that I thought would be great.

Survivor: US Armed Forces. Have one tribe made up of Army and Air Force personnel, the other made up of Navy and Marine Corps personnel.

You need to add the token naked person....like Jenna Jameson or Pamela Anderson for ratings;)

Katie Couric would do as the annoying Shi-Ann type:p

I doubt it would be top tier stars, but mainly "has beens" from the 70s and 80s desperate to jump start their careers. Kind of like the lame Celebrity Mole they did a while back. This would be the first Survivor I might give a miss.

As for sports figures I would like to see Dan Marino I know ex football now but still like to see it. I would like to see Mark Messier and Wayne Gretzky and Grant Fuhr. Maybe Cal Ripken and Pete Rose Dion Sanders Bo Jackson. Those would do for now. Singers maybe Sting and David Bowie Mic Jager Steven Tyler and James Hetfeild. From TV I would like to see Jeff actually participate in one to that would be good and maybe Martin Short and Robin Williams Andrea Martin Dan Acroyd and possibly Oprah and Ellen.

I've thought of a few more...OJ Simpson, Ty from Trading Spaces/Extreme Makeover, and Ted Nugent.

Heck no, don't put OJ Simpson on an island with the few provided knives and fishing spears. He might have Katie Couric in pieces faster than you can say, "The trible has spoken."

I'd like to see the tribes mixed between the Jessica Simpson types and the Alex Trebek types and the J.J Redick type. Who would survice...the brains, the athlete, or the ....what type WOULD you call Jessica Simpson??

I don't think they will ever do a Celebrity Survivor.

This may have been said elsewhere, but I believe that the big reveal will be upping the prize money from 1 mil to 2 mil for this current series, totally shocking the person who just won.

LOL! In fact add Clay to the mix and THAT would be a show!

I can't imagine Survivor getting into something similar to Celebrity Mole. They make enough money without having to pay celebrity salaries and really don't need to push the ratings..... wait a minute... if Romber wins this year they will NEED SOMETHING to bring us back! :earseek:

I sure hope they don't do a Celebrity Survivor. I hate those has been celebrity contest shows. The Mole was a great show but they ruined it with the celebrity versions. The game isn't the same with each celebrity trying to be so much more funny and get more attention than the others. Please say it ain't so!

I would love to see Jeff Probst play Survivor and not host...:teeth:

Kind of like a "Love Boat" survivor!

I don't want to see Celebrity Survivor at all. I like it best with "regular" people. I don't even like the current All-Star Survivor.
