The next kid craze?

Silly Bands are still going strong here, but DS has also come home recently with new things he had traded some for. They are little plastic critters with large heads and small bodies, different colors and different pictures on the heads - astro..something or other, I think he called them?? Does anyone know what they actual name is, or where to get them?

Are they Bok Choy Boys? The kids around here trade them. They are actually vending machine toys and our grocery stores all seem to have one vending machine full of them.
