After we left there, we went to the Backlot Tour. Now, its always been one of my faves, since I was a kid...but I think this is prob the first time I really noticed how lame it really is. Sure its nostalgic for me, but its really boring. I was telling DH how awesome it USED to be...back when it had the walking tour part where you saw the soundstages and stuff, and when they still had Residential street. I hate that he never go to see that!

So lesson learned...prob wont be riding anytime soon.

Ok so we prob will (nostalgia!), but I will never wait in line for it.

Moving along...we were all getting hungry by then, and knowing we had a fairly early ADR that night we decided we should go ahead and eat lunch. Since we have boys who could eat pizza everyday, we went to Pizza Planet. I found a table outside, it was SO nice out, and waited on everyone else to get food. Nice huh?

The boys all got pizzas, and mom and I got salads. Not bad. Standard salad...but one of the better ones I've had. After we ate we just kinda talked about what to do for the rest of the afternoon. And just a little input from me, about the dining plan. We werent on it, but I had made a few ADRs just bc it was a special trip and all. But that right there, planning our time bc we had to be somewhere, at a certain time, reminded me of why I HATE it. I despise being on a set schedule, esp on vacation. I know that alot of people enjoy knowing they have plans set, and dont get me wrong, I'm a planner too. But I just don't enjoy that feeling of having to be somewhere, and rushing to do things. I'm a more go with the flow person. End rant.

We knew we wanted my brother to see Lights Motors Action, and there were only 2 shows that day, and since we'd missed the first one, we had to make the 4 pm one ( actually maybe it was 4:30?). So after lunch we went straight to the Muppets, since its right there, and it is DH's favorite.

Then the boys went on Star Tours, mom and I can't handle it. We walked around in some stores, and just waited for them outside the ride. They were out pretty quickly, they said it was awesome, they pretty much walked right on. Awesome!

It was about an hour before the show started, so we decided to walk on back to the stadium, bc we knew it would fill up.

They didn't start letting people until about 30 minutes before. So, we sat on some benches by the restrooms outside there.

Less Talkin More Rockin!!!

I took pictures to pass the time, as usual.

When they let us, we all walked in and sat towards the front in the middle. The little VIP area was to the right of us, and they ended up picking 2 honeymooning couples to sit there. It was cute. Made me miss our honeymoon....

The show was great, the boys were all in awe of course!

When the show was over we decided to head on out, we had about an hour and a half until our ADR time, and wanted to have plenty of time! We went on The Great Movie Ride on the way out, it was fun as usual...I do agree w/many others that it needs to be updated...

We slowly walked out, going through a few of the shops up front as we left. Then went out to the bus, for the resort where our ADR was.

I love that feeling of the first wake up! There is nothing better than waking up and realizing that you are in WDW! That so funny that the director made a big scene for your mom's b-day! Priceless Disney memories right there.

I cant wait to ride TSM and that picture of you and your hubby is cute!!! Can't wait to read more.


Ohhhhh and I love how a lot of the people at the campsites go all out. Very cool!!!!

I totally understand your frustration with ADRs.... it does stress me out too when trying to relax on your trip. Love the Ft. Wilderness pictures, especially the decorations- too fun!

Okay, that guy in the tree was just too odd. I wonder what that was all about! We did TSM this last trip and loved it too.

That campsite with all the decorations was totally cool! I guess they were a long term stay. Wish I was!

I agree that its the greatest feeling when you wake up that first day at Disney. You have your whole trip in front of you and your at the happiest place on earth! It doesn't get any better than that.

Seriously, that is the BEST feeling in the world! I NEED to go back NOW!!

I was so happy that he did that...it just started our trip out great, we love that interaction. Thats why Disney is the BEST!

I'm glad I'm not the only one! I know the majority of disers love having everything planned out, and its nice...but not at all relaxing for me!

BTW, I started reading your PTR last night!! Trying to get all caught up! Your family is precious! And I love finding my fellow Georgia peeps!!! We're only about 3 hrs away from ATL!

Yes...it was odd. I'm sure there was some sort of action getting ready to take place!

And yes we were SO jealous of all the people who go and stay for months at a time at the campground. That's the life! Something to aspire for when DH and I retire!

I'm soooooooooo excited for WL!! We stayed there on our trip in 06 and we just feel in love with it! When I started planning our January trip we reserved POR because we where talking my sister and her family. Unfortunately plans changed and they can't go. We were said that they can't go but then I realized we could change our reservation to WL!! Not to mention WL CL!! That softened the blow a bit

I'm really hoping that the christmas decorations will still be up when we get there! I think I may faint from excitement seeing the WL tree!!

Mickey shaped light up jackolantern!

I had been wanting it for awhile now, and just wouldn't buy it for myself. I have the best husband! I have it sitting in front of the fireplace...

And I was going to post these later in the TR, but I went ahead and took a picture to share now since they go along with the jackolantern...

My mickey candles! I bought them the morning we left Disney. I LOVE them, have been wanting them for years seeing other people have them. They're on our mantle, I light the just about every night! So now our fireplace area is all Mickey'd out!

haha...I have NO idea. I'm sure it was streetosphere about to happen. Had to be...if we were more patient we would've waited around to see what he was doing! oh well!

I think the people camping are there for quite some time. A man who was camping near them told us like 2 months or something. Can you IMAGINE? That's the life!!!

I KNOW. I love them. I had been looking at them the whole time we were there, WANTING them. The morning we left we went and bought them at the campground store. I love lighting them (every night!)



I'm going to TRY to have the next update up tonight!! Grey's comes on though...and that is my number one priority!!!

Ok so I obviously didn't have time to update last night....

AND! We have 50 days until our ANNIVERSARY TRIP!!!!!!!!

I made the most awesome countdown calendar, I'm so very proud. I will post pics either here (they're not uploaded yet), or whenever I start my PTR. Which will be whenever I finish THIS TR!!

I can't wait to go back!!!!
