Remake
Variety reported in August 2009 that Disney and director Robert Zemeckis were negotiating to produce a computer-animated remake of the film. Performance capture would be used, as with Zemeckis's previous animated films The Polar Express, Beowulf and A Christmas Carol. According to the story, Disney hopes to release the film in time for the 2012 Summer Olympics in London.[4]

Disney and Apple Corps Ltd. officially announced the remake at the inaugural D23 Expo on 11 September 2009.[5]

Comedian Peter Serafinowicz was cast to voice Paul McCartney, Dean Lennox Kelly is John Lennon, Cary Elwes is George Harrison and Adam Campbell is Ringo Starr. [6]

California-based Beatles tribute band, The Fab Four was cast to do the motion-capture performance footage for director Robert Zemeckis' 3-D remake of The Beatles animated film classic. [7][8][9]

yeesh, why dont they just get the actual paul and ringo, and save the fuss of auditioning... lol.

s'pose paul and ringo wont want to do a silly remake! lol.

I read in the Telegraph (when searching for recent news on the movie) that they're trying to get them to make at least a cameo in the movie. The thing I worry about is how realistic everything will look. The zany (and rather creepy...) art style used is what makes it special.

Oh, and the Beatles didn't do the voices of themselves in the movie until, I think, the final scene?

i love how their heads are tiny, and their bodies are huge :rotfl:

That would make sense, but the talking parts weren't done by the guys.

I need to sneeze...

Still waiting for a reply from Kingston University...

I stretched my leg, and it cramped up. Normally it goes away after about 5 seconds. This time, it wouldn't go away for about a minute, and now it just hurts to walk on it.

My leg still hurts.

I have an exam on Wednesday. I think I may end up spending much time in Psychology tomorrow...

My christmas tree is finally officially in the loft. Huzzah?
