So am I the only teen out there who thinks that its a sad thing our society has become so accustomed to underage drinking that people actually think it's okay/harmless?
Just wondering. I know a girl that was inches away from a coma but one of her friends got smart and called an ambulance. It just made me think is all.

You are most definately not the only one. I did my speech in this pageant over the summer on that exact thing. The harms of underage drinking.

Oh good :)
And thank you, of course for spreading the word of the damage it does.

I think it's ridiculous that sometimes I just have to assume a person I'm friends with has been drinking, unless they tell me otherwise.
I mean the real problems are driving and the fact that most teens only drink to get drunk :confused3 I don't get it I guess.

Like when people pass out, their body's actually preparing for a coma...

I agree with you.
Nearly every single one of my friends devote their fridays and saturdays to drinking. They're mainly very clever kids too and I don't want to them to throw their lives away. My one friend just got a part-time job to pay for booze.
So sad.

:sad2:
They're lucky they have somebody as sensible as you for a friend, though, they might need it one day!

Yeah I know right?
And I'm not really... umm.. invited or gone to parties or anything, so I admit I don't really know the atmosphere. Still, I hear about it enough.
I go to parties at school and yes there is some drinking(but not by me). I just don't understand it. I can have just as much fun without drinking then with drinking.

xD And on a humorous note, I've always wondered exactly how much info I would spill if I got drunk.
I'm a blabber-mouth anyways, lol.
