Nice day here too.............wished I'd thought of apple-picking Debbie! Spent the morning with chores and then DH talked me into going out to Avery's house for the Pat's game again. The good part was spending the time with him, the bad part was we were inside all afternoon .....I should've been less of a slug and suggested that DIL and baby and I head out ourselves to enjoy the weather............oh well.

The weekends go tooooooooo fast

Sue, what kind of convertible do you have? I've decided my next car (sometime next spring or summer when DD buys my Mazda 626 from me) is going to be my midlife crisis car, a convertible. I've never in my life been anything but practical and economical when it comes to car-buying. So I want a convertible. Looking into the Chrysler Sebrings, and the VW Beetles which are due to come out...but the Beetle is a little too small I think.........

Mine is a Fire Engine Red Sebring and I love it!
It's really my third convertible...in a row.
My first was a '92 Mustang....OK, but, not my favorite.
Then a '94 LeBaron, which I really liked until the Sebrings came out, so, when it was time to get a new car, there was no choice--had to get the Sebring.

Get one--you'll love it,too---especially on days like today.

well...he was hard at work on the website yesterday, but didn't get the pix, etc uploaded yet!! what he's got looks really nice, but it just needs a few more tweaks...hopefully he'll have it ready soon!

the poor guy is sick with a horrible cold now too. it's just a matter of time before i get it...

another monday...i hate mondays...

we took our 15 rolls of film from the honeymoon to wal-mart yesterday to be developed. we should (cross your fingers) have those back tomorrow night. 15 rolls...i have never had that many pictures to develop at once before!! the man was picture happy!!! hopefully we'll have some really nice pictures out of it though...i think that he wants to put together a scrapbook too. that'll take us forever...

k...gotta work now...or at least pretend to work...

15 rolls!!?? Wow! I haven't had that many shots to develop since...the Manilow tour was over! Nah, not even I take that many rolls of film - to ONE show! LOL

Christine - you know - it's the same message, over and over and over and over - ya gotta wonder why a guy would continue to hang out with a crowd that's so evil and vengeful and full of blood lust - unless of course he enjoyed POKING and POKING at 'em! Hmmm...doesn't that make him just as bad, then??? Guess he figures if he sledgehammers 'em over the head enough, they'll change their mind to his opinion.

I try not to get bothered too much - I just consider the source, make gagging noises, and go on.

Took the boys to Great Adventure on Saturday, and I got a sunburn worse than any time I've ever gotten from Florida! Must've been all that time waiting to shoot the hose at them when they were on the log flume ride.

I could never own a convertible - I HATE my hair blowing around and in my face! But they sho' do look purty!

Er, um... SSB did catch all of your comments, MS. Poohlovr after SSB's LAST post.... hrmmmmm.....

LUCKILY, speaking of the Pats, SSB was smart enough to start both Tom Brady, and Troy Brown (monster games) as well as "Priest Holmes" on the KC team... going to end up having the biggest week in the history of our league this week! Still have the Rams defense tonight, and already broke the record!

Only 84 here right now, so a bit cooler than normal. Brrrrrr.... Perhaps SSB should invest in a Mr. Rodger's sweater for working at the Lemonade Stand!

ok..i've spent 8 hours at work...i've DISed about 7 1/2 of those 8 hours...how horrible is that?! i suppose i should do something constructive during my final 20 minutes here today...

at least today wasn't nearly as difficult to get out of bed as last monday was...i really needed the weekend to catch up on my sleep!

we went to our friend's wedding saturday night. it was fun! of course, 5 hours with an open bar...how could that not be fun? 5 amaretto sours later...

k...work...maybe...we'll see...here's hoping i'll be able to post a message later saying "check this out!" cross your fingers girls...

boy, i'm easily distracted...has anyone ever gone to the adventurer's club at pleasure island? (have i asked this before?) that place rocks!!!

I am finally back in the world of the living!! I am still suffering the last vestiges of my cold from hell but I am at least able to function somewhat normally including DISing. I hope I NEVER get a 2-week long cold again in my life - yuck yuck yuck.

I dragged myself (as I was still feeling sub-par), along with dd and dh, to the local hot air balloon festival this weekend. Our weather has turned sooooo nice and it was a lovely outing. They had so many pretty balloons and lots of fun shape balloons as well. We also saw Steven Bishop and The Turtles play live sets as well (not together but as separate performances).

Ann, a few test drives when contemplating a new car makes for a fun afternoon. Sure, you may not be buying for a while but why not try one out anyway?

Debbie, Congrats to Mike on passing his tests. We have similar tests here in TX and it sure is worth a sigh of relief once your kids have passed them. Good for him at his soccer game as well!

Cookie, Hope that sunburn is better by now! I always hate the healing (and then peeling) time of a sunburn. Take some ibuprofen and relax, okay?

Well, back to the laundry that has been soooo ignored for the last 2 weeks. Hope all of my cheerleader friends had a good weekend and a good Monday!

SO how is everyone tonite?

I had to get out of work eary to take DD to the doctor...was afraid her cold was turning into bronchitis or pneumonia...was settling in her chest when it should have been getting better, this morning she was coughing up (in her words) "stuff that looks like boogers" and feeling short of breath......, but no, "just a sinus infection" go figure. Only $2 co-pay on the amoxicillin on my new health insurance woo-hoo!

Congrats on your fantasy football team! Great news that they are doing so well.
My friend won his league last year and got enough $$ to buy a new garage door...about 850.00 after deducting the fees he paid to join the league.
So if you win big, you are buying arifare to Orlando for all of the cheerleaders??? How nice! I'm sure I will be able to make that trip!

I forgot to finish---

The DVD player came today. The boys are watching Return To Neverland with their mom--which is special to them. She was supposed to meet us at that movie for Justin's birthday, but, never did. So, he's pretty happy to be watching it with her now.

She's supposed to go for an evaluation for an in-patient Rehab program tomorrow. Everyone please say a prayer that all goes well.
If she's accepted, she could possibly get in Friday.
She had a bad time this week-end and realizes that she needs help. She said she feels like she finally hit bottom (funny--I thought that had already happened) and now, she wants help.
So.please, any good thoughts you can muster would be appreciated.

A question--do any of you ever read your postsand then have to go back in and edit the typos??

I have several problems centering around the fact that I can't type....my little finger always hits the "a" before another finger can get its letter in, so I always type "ahve". Instead of "L", I'll type ";" Hit the shift key instead of "a"


Shoot--I just can't type and have to edit almost every post....

Am I the only one?????
