We are going to Massachusetts tomorrow taking my mom out of the nursing home, out to lunch for her 76nd. We are coming up on the 4th anniversary of her aneurysm/brain surgery/stroke
She's doing great, all things considered, but this wasn't how we all envisioned these years...were looking forward to 4-generation (albeit step-greatgrandchildren) trips to WDW, not to be now . Ah, well, "carpe deim" as the saying goes. (I shoulda bought that airfare for DisCon )

Congrats to Mike...for the test and the soccer game.
DD lost today too....2-1...she was sick...(has a cold and SAID she threw up before the game ) and the first goal she should have saved but her offense couldn't get it together and missed 2 "open net" chances as well as hit the crossbar on a PK... so we figure they really WON 3-1 hehehe. She wasn't feeling too awfully bad afterwards, as Varsity lost too, 1-0 hehehe

Well, DH and I are off to Massachusetts. DD is staying home and nursing her cold, I'd rathrr have her rest (and do homework and clean her room ) then cough and sneeze all over my elderly DM and DF and the rest of the assorted family members who will be there.

I don't care much for football, hockey is my favorite pro sport. But I do love my BC Eagles. And of course our Patriots, but admittedly a 'fair-weather" Pats fan. Last year still somewhat incomprehensible to me.

hey everyone. had a good weekend but today has been hell at work - where I am now.

A beautiful, mild day here today, too.
Did the schedule for work this morning (into the early afternoon---ugh), then, finally got to go out and enjoy this gorgeous day.

Perfect day for riding with the top down on the car. My hair looks very similar to a hornets nest, but, my spirit is somewhat refreshed for a while.
Yesterday was another home-chore intensive day (cleaned the living room carpet and furniture, among other things...)

Hope the rest of you are enjoying your week-end, also.

Christine--Sorry this is a bad day at work for you. I do hope it improves.
