Wow!! You guys were busy while I was working ...I have to admit I haven't even read it all...no time right now, But I did read milo's post about moving and that sounds terrific. Like Poohlvr..I think I would be afraid..but that sure does sound exciting!! I wish you luck in your move and job hunting!!

Essentially, I was told that the half-naked ladies that were being posted on the Friday Men's post and other places (and one, especially, was wearing only a tight lacey thing, so that there were no surprises --you could even tell where she did and didn't shave!--and she shaved everywhere) were OK cause they were photos and didn't actually show nudity...maybe air brushing was the reason,but the important areas were not shown. Our innuendo however, was unacceptable, because it was about a taboo subject on the DIS boards because children might read it.

BT was told exactly the same thing about some clip art she used of a woman wearing nothing but a teddy bear belted to the front of her body.....unacceptable. Now, if she wanted to post a real photo of that same theme, that, apparently, would have been acceptable, as long as the bear was big enough to cover both hither and yon.

Same here - it is a double standard in a way.

I sent a PM to a couple of WM that I know were read but nothing was said back, I would have liked to have got something, even a mind your own business or something. But no I got nothing and this person can continue to post that crap.

Oh, Debbie--I didn't mean anything...'cept that we seem to get in trouble for "nothing" and others sometimes seem to have free reign to say, do, or post anything they want.

We get into trouble for talking about cherries and whipped cream.....

with info about what I was told when I asked why we got into hot water for innuendo, when we have peopole on the boards posting pics of very scantily attired women without a single objection being raised.

WOW, Milo, big news!! It will be an adventure and everything will work out fine! DH (mostly him) and I have often talking about moving to Florida when DD gets out of high school ......but now that THAT is on the horizon (2 years) the older kids are HAVING kids and there are grandchildren here.....and we're not as gung-ho. Of course there is the point that we just need to have a big enough place that they can come and visit...but I think we'd miss the more mundane things like birthdays and school events and stuff. I don't know, we'll see. ANYWAY...the VERY best wishes to you and Mrs Milo---please do get hooked up quick and let us know how things go!!
