The "Newest" Moms Hangout...

Has anyone done the tea at the Grand Floridian?? Not the princess tea, but the other one.. We will be at WDW over Mothers Day, and I was thinking this would be nice. My husband thinks we should do it.. I think my older two would dig it. I just dont know, it seems a little spendy. Is it worth it? Will the babies be to loud and get us kicked out??

;) lol, it's a baby store like BRU. They carry a lot of the same items but also carry some high end retail and designer type clothes and gear.

Never done the tea at Grand Floridian, but DH always says "we don't belong here" when we visit. :)

Oh man!! We stayed at the Grand Californian at Disneyland one time, and my husband was like... This place is NOT for us! We need to head back on over to the Paradise Pier!:lmao::lmao:He was uncomfortable the whole trip. I however.. LOVED the beds!

I have been doing some research, and it looks like they might be discontinuing Classic. Im not SURE.. Dont quote me on that.. But if you look at the City Jogger website... Its not even on there any more. :confused3

I think you are right. They must have removed it from the website recently. I know I have seen it on there & it seems like it was not that long ago. Hmmmmm, I don't mind buying a discontinued stroller, but that changes my buying strategy. I better keep an eye out for good deals *now* rather than several months from now....... Maybe I'll check ebay as well, that's where I got DS's special needs stroller, picked up a Maclaren Major for about 200 bucks less than retail.

Hi girls. I have been MIA around here as of late. I hope everyone is doing well. Natalie is growing like a weed and loving all her new food. I have to pinch myself, we leave is just over 2 weeks for Disney:banana::yay::banana: Grandma and Grandpa can't wait to have Natalie all the themselves for 6 days.

My girlfriend and I did this in 2008. We had a blast!! I have pictures around here somewhere...I don't remember seeing any children under 5 though. That might be something to ask when you book it - see what there recomendations are for an age limit.
I don't have the pictures in my photobucket account, I'll have my girlfriend post them for you!

So we had our 4 month WCV at the ped today. My poor babies got all shot up. We came home they got tylenol & bottles & they are stilll crashed out.

So Dylan is huuuuuge. He's tipping the scales at 14 lbs 13 oz. Katie is my skinny minnie weighing in at 11 lbs 9 oz. She's still gained nearly 2 lbs in the last month, so she's fine, gaining at a rate that is just fine for her, just not as quick as her piggie brother.

Oh DH uploaded a cute pic on flickr, it's almost 2 months old already, but still very cute. :) http://www.flickr.com/photos/jtor1138/4087458529/

We had a quick, unexpected trip to the ER earlier today...

and Lucas weighed in at 18lbs 6oz! Holy smokes. Definitely a growth spurt!

I hope Lucas is ok, Patsy! Luca went for his 9-month appt. today and weighed in at 19 lbs 6 oz! :rotfl2:

He's good, just found some blood in his diaper so I called. I probably didn't need to, I know it was just baaad diaper rash but I've been trying to get it to go away (even aired him out several times all nakie in his whale tub! :rotfl:) but I haven't had any luck...

He's had issues with blood in his stool before and even though I was pretty sure it was from the diaper rash I didn't wanna take the risk. They checked his stool (clean, phew!), gave me some calmoseptine.... said that should clear him right up and we were on our way.

A co-pay is definitely worth the peace of mind.

Other than that exciting adventure, my DH and I had a great day. We went to Applebees for lunch (free entree for Veterans).. then walked around Lowes, the mall (he picked out a Yankee Candle!:) ) and Outback for dinner. Good grief am I stuffed!!
Days like today give me hope. :)

Good!! On all fronts!

I just realized I put ER.

My mind is crazed apparently, we didn't go to the ER (but I was talking to an ER nurse when I posted, so maybe that is why I said ER? lol)

We went to the pediatrician.

I'm glad you had a good day Patsy.

We got good news tonight. Some friends of ours have been trying to get pregnant for 8 yrs. They have tried in vitro, acupuncture:scared1:, pretty much anything you could imagine. We found out tonight they are 2 months pregnant! Dh saw them, and said they are ecstatic!

ITA This is great advice. When I did it with my mom there were no children and it was very subdued. I think I might remember there being an age limit.

Congrats to your friends december!!

Sarah, was it you that bought the Bravado's from CVS? Do you like them? (If it wasn't you, whoever did get them can you let me know what you think?) They are still $10 off at CVS and the one bra I like strap broke yesterday...

The carseat I ordered on Tuesday night got delivered today.

Crazy! The box is huge, too. Now I gotta figure out where to stick it for a few months, lol.

december, that is so great about your friends!! Watching my friend go through TTC with no luck (other than the pregnancy that ended in a miscarriage) is sooo hard. I can't imagine anything tougher than infertility. :(

Test it out in your car before you pack it away. That way you can make sure everything is there and it fits. (I don't know Target's return policy...)
