Teapots on the stove... the microwave.. hot fresh water faucet...

But people don't drink tea often.. everybody drinks coffee. And then we just use various coffeepots

I would never use a microwave to heat water up. Not after seeing what happens

Basically, the water reaches boiling point without boiling. This means that any movement can cause the boiling process to happen all at once and literally explode, drenching you with it's boiling hot contents. It can happen to any beverage.
