What is the internet status at WL? If I am staying in a standard room how can I access the internet?

Not that I am aware of.

Does anyone know if the WL has a computer center where I could upload pics from my digital camera if I need to?

As of right now, you're stuck with dialup access but broadband is coming to WL as soon as August from what I recall. Broadband will cost ya though....about $10 a day.

I was just there in April with my laptop and I asked at the desk - thinking I would get photos printed for when I got home - and was told 'Hey Now, Your in the Wilderness " - Opps I fogot!
but she did tell me I could go to the Contemporary if I needed to - and that they were 'working on it'.

Jasminrtigger is staying at the Lodge now on the 7th floor Concierge Level, the new lounge should open today. She is going to try and take some photos see her thread @
We are at Wilderness Lodge CL right now!
Other news the High Speed Internet Access is up and operational.

So sorry it has taken me so long to reply. Internet service was down for a while here at WL. Actually it just was available at midnight last night. The first few days was just a trial run.

Is this the High Speed Internet Access?

Yes it is, and it works great.

If you mean for room requests, they don't do that anymore.

Anyone I know going?? I just found out last night that DH won't have to work OR be on call and we can go. I'm waiting to tell him that we can still go. So who is going?

Here's a question that just popped in my head... I know from older guide books that the arcade used to be next to Roaring Forks, and that it was moved to make room for more seating. My question is, what used to be where the arcade is now?

the arcade is near the merchantile-- just outside on the way to the bus stop-- at least it was there in Feb
