My new hubby and I will be visiting WDW for the very first time the week of Thanksgiving! What kind of toiletries are included in WL rooms (we have a standard room)? Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, body wash? Is it good quality stuff? Thanks!

Hi everyone!! It's been a while, I have been very busy with school. Tentatively we are planning on visiting the WL next December..haven't been at Christmastime in a few years and it's truly our favorite time to be there. Of course, I've been spoiled by the CL and really missed it when we stayed at the Poly in August. So, once the new year starts, I think I will make a ressie..just trying to figure out the beginning of December or mid-December..only for 5 nights as I don't want to take the girls out of school for that long :)

Good Morning,

Can anyone help me with a club level room question? We booked a standard room -club level for the first time. What kind of views might that be and does anyone know of any room #s or maybe or if there are any pictures from one of these rooms posted anywhere.
Also does are the "perks" the same for a standard room as a deluxe room?(besides the room itself)

Thank you so much for your help. We adore the Wilderness Lodge and are so excited to go back in April.

Have a great day

That was awesome...thanks for a great post!!! I love the music too!

Made me really miss the lodge.

I'll second that! I LOVED your video of WL. It brought back great family memories from our trip there 2 years ago. We are trying to go back soon! The music was great too!

I have another question for the wonderful vets here on this board.(everyone is truly so helpful..thank you for all your help) Does there exist a map of the 7th floor rooms. I have booked a club level standard room and was wondering if there was a map to check out.

Thank you soooo much--have a great day

Club level standard is probably North Tower overlooking the parking lot / service area. You will have a nice view of the fireworks possibly. The other added perk is your proximity to the lobby and the club room where the foods and drinks are. Not too far from the elevators either.

Also check the link in my signature for lots of pictures from different balconies. There might be something there for you.

Hope this helped.

The stuff is small but don't pack your own. It's much easier to just buy it in the mercantile and leave it in the room if there's any left. Less stuff to pack and less weight.

We have friends in the area and have them buy shampoo, conditioner, shaving cream, diapers, etc. (Yippy no more diapers for us!!!) They meet up with us and drop the stuff off. No need to carry it all. Makes traveling a whole lot more friendly. :)

Anyway just a few suggestions.

Thank you so much. I cant believe how many great pictures you have. This thread is really amazing. Your are so helpful to everyone and it is very much appreciated. My only problem now is it is going to feel like an eternity until April when I get to go WL!! Looking at all the pictures makes you want to leave tomorrow!
Thanks Again
Robin

I don't even look at them much anymore for that very reason. I'll be there in a little over a month. We are doing the Mousefest Cruise from 12/2 to 12/6 then staying at WL from 12/6 to 12/11 for Mousefest Land. Can't wait to go home. We even have ADRs for Artist Point!! :)

Got home a few days ago from our first stay at the WL - we loved it and hated coming back to 30d weather.

AP was great though I didnt care for the mushroom soup; the beef tenderloin was awesome! WC was fun too - son loved asking for crayons and catsup all night and the wife said she was super thirsty - LOL!

The kids loved the pool, the nightly light show on Bay Lake, and our view of the nightly MK firework show. They also loved the pool and the slide - our first night there the pool wasnt even heated - brrrrr, they turned the heater on the next day and it got really nice in there.

We all loved the boat rides - we only took the bus a couple of times our entire stay.

I'll have to get some pictures up when I get a chance ... still adjusting to being back home - bah!

I had to read the description a couple times but I believe CL- standard just means it's a standard room; not a deluxe room or suite. On the WDW website, it mentions that you could have a ctyd or woods view. We're staying there in Jan. and are hoping for a MK view, too, but I don't have any specific room numbers to request.

So its official! We've booked a Woodsview room at the WL for our honeymoon in May....heres hoping we can score a king bed on an upper floor!

Just thought I'd share my excitement!

Cheers,
Josh

Off to WL tomorrow!

Can't wait!

Will post review and pictures upon my return next week.

Sounds like a lovely time!! We love the boat too! When we were there in February, I think we only took the bus twice.

I'd love to see your pics!

What's the real answer? Do any of the standard view rooms overlook the lobby. If you can't reserve a woodsview or courtyard maybe a lobby view would help.:confused3
