MickeysHouse07- I noticed you live in South Jersey. We are from New York. We go to the Jersey shore every year. Last summer we went to Cap May, stood at a B&B for the first time and loved it. We booked our trip through AAA. It was a lot cheaper than booking through disney. Check out their website. They have a lot of perks too.

The Epcot photos are up, I will let you know when I have newer WL pool photos (around the 16th).

hello vicki
We tend to go to Ocean City Maryland. Love it there. DH loves to eat blue crabs (he's actually eating some now...weekend ritually).

Thanks for the AAA info.

Love the pictures, keep giving us more!

Thanks! :) Hopefully the pool will be looking better next time I'm there. I was asked to do an OKW walk next, so I'll be doing that and then Trails End and the WL pool renovation pics on the same day.

Hi everyone!

Just wanted to post here as me and my DH will be staying at WL Sept 7-14. This will be my first ever trip to Disney World and I am so excited to stay here as I have a friend at work who has done nothing but rave about WL. I'm sure I'll end up being so spoiled I'll never want to stay anywhere else!

Thanks for all the great info you all have contributed here!

I loved your photo's of the Boardwalk walk photos and EPCOT's Worldshow case.

I'm still looking at all your photo's from Europe, I can't believe these photo's I too have been living over on Trip Advisor. You have visited many areas that are on my wish list for a late May-June-early July 2008 trip. Did you do a Trip report (Other then the beautiful photo's?)

Mont St. Michel, Normandy and Giverny are all at the top of my list. Have to run I am still touring in Europe.

Just had to come Thank You.
Beckie

Hi, all. I haven't posted in some time (but have been a frequent lurker). My family and I will be returning to the Lodge on June 24 for 6 nights - bunkbed room! Our last visit was August of 2005. We fell completely in love with it! I haven't told my kids yet (9 and almost 4) - I'm hoping to keep it a surprise! Thanks for all the great info. I love looking at the pictures!

I'm glad to have a group of people who share my addiction to the Wilderness Lodge!!

Lisa

I agree. I always thought the LCD TV would look really good in my rec room. :rolleyes1

I just realized my flight lands at 10:15am. Isn't check in @ 3pm? I was thinking on doing lunch @ WCC. Can we use the pool even though we can't check in yet?:confused3 Will our luggage arrive when we do? We will be using ME.

I love crabs!, especially with old bay seasoning  . We usually go to Baltimore, MD. I like the inner harbor area.

zdad- Do you post on the focker thread? I :lmao: evertime I lurk there. You guys are too funny? Of course now I will be looking for the lime green mickey ears and the focker signal. :cool1:

When I first started looking for a resort for my families Aug vacation I had asked about the pools at various resorts I read a post that said that the WL pool is too small for all the summer guests and that there was an issue with the ducks pooping ( excuse my terminology) in the water and it not getting cleaned out.

I thought I had made up my mind, but now I am rethinking WL. We plan on spending a lot of time at the pool so it is very important to the family.

Thanks for your help

( By the way there are 7 of us, 5 kids are 7 -14)

hello ladies I hope you ladies are having a nice weekend. Of course as for me I'm doing my Disney homework. DH thinks I'm insane.

I'm thinking of calling my "hold" vacation package reservation to a room only. But my question is should I do that with my travel agent or Disney. The AAA lady is going to think I'm nuts. Her rate is the best but I have this feeling that the free DDP will be offered this year. Or should I just book AAA room only?

Thanks and so sorry for being such a pest.

I hope you enjoy the trip report, Beckie!

And the refurbished rooms are VERY nice. I had friends staying in one this past October and I was able to see it.
