I always find certain parts of songs that I love. Like in feeling this, I love when Mark sings "Fate fell short this time, your smile fades in the summer. Place your hand in mine, i'll leave when i wanna"

(so are fall out boy and panic and yet Matt classifies them as pop. If they're pop then paramore have to be xD)

That's an awesome part.
Sometimes I find the parts I'm drawn to aren't even the parts with the best lyrics if you get what mean.

There is something seriously wrong if you consider songs from take this to your grave and backwards as pop Interesting question, what genre is paramore to you?

Im not saying ALL of thier songs are strictly pop, just the majority of them. Paramore is a bit of a toughy, prolly more pop though. I LOVE them to death though. AMAZING sound. Stuff like Foo Fighters, Pearl Jam, Skillet, Creed ect. I consider more Rock.

I'm just going to disagree with you entirely on that one because I can only think of 10ish songs that even come close to poppish and dude I've listened to every song they've ever written (or covered)
Paramore as so much more poppy

Well see this is the problem. There are FAR too many sub genres. I really honestly hate it. Yes I think alternative is a viable genre, and i guess panic, switchfoot, AVA ect. are good ones to throw in there. But im sorry, Fall Out Boy are just pop to me. Art is subjective, and music is art. I see music FAR differently from you, and from everyone else.

Paramore, Creed, and Skillet belong in the crap genre.

Opinions are more then welcome, but give some examples and ideas to back up your opinion, other wise it loses all meaning.
