geffric, I noticed you are going on a Disney land and sea. When are you arriving at WDW? Our wedding is 20 March, but we will be getting in on the 17th.

Gotta decide what I'm going to have for supper...UGH! Wish I could just skip dinner and go straight for dessert...Eggnog ice cream...Christmas lives!

After the cruise , we are staying the weekend(..the 27th and 28th.) at WDW.. .Will you and Brian still be at WDW then??

Ohanafamily, got my desktop back today. $40 just as he promised AND it was a virus. The CIH virus. He installed a new virus scanner on my hard drive that he says is a really good one. It's called AVG virus scan and is available at www.grisoft.com for free. He said to stay away from Norton and McAffee because they are so popular all the new viruses are built to get around them. That works in perfectly with my theory that those are the guys building the viruses in the first place, of course they know how to get around themselves. Then you have to buy their updates to stay safe. Anyway, check it out and tell me what you think.

I really don't want to burst your bubble here, but that comment about Norton and McAffee is totally untrue. If it were, there would not be a safe virus detection program out there. We own a computer business and we recommend Norton and, with the customers who actually update their definitions, we have never had a single virus come through. The updates are free for a year and the yearly fee is quite minimal, less than your recent repair. You will have to update any virus protection program you purchase, there are new viruses almost every day. Scary, isn't it?
The unfortunate thing about your program is there is no tech. support should you need it and a few other limitations.
Having said all that, if you keep your definitions updated, I am sure it will be fine. I also suggest you set it up to scan your email, which is where most of the viruses come from. Norton catches on the average of 15 a week for me.

Gather 'round the fire, time to finish this story! Hot cocoa, thin mint cookies, diet 7Up and popcorn are all available. Help yourself!

Let's see, where were we? Ah, yes, the adults had just vanished into the night.


"Where are they?" said Lovey, her voice quivering.
"We haven't heard a sound for an hour" said Pearl.
Just then, they heard another roar! Quickly followed by yet another roar!
"Whatever it is, it's still out there!" Brother excalimed.
"It's starting to get light out and the fire is dying" said Sister. "We must find Silky and the Captain" and she started to walk into the bushes.
"NO" yelled the girls
"You can't walk in there" said her brother.
"You're right" said sister, "I guess I'll just have to fly!" and with that she reached behind her back and tore the beautiful dress and released her wings. A tear came to her eye as she tore the dress, but she was determined to find the adults.
"But, you can't fly....at least not yet" said Brother.
"Well, I'm sure going to try!" and she jumped up on a rock and spread her wings. And the most wonderous thing happened. She began lifting off the ground! Not very high, but enough to see over the bushes and small trees. She circled around the girls and her brother, testing her movements then she moved off in the direction the adults had gone.
"I'll be back with them as soon as I can" she yelled as she flew away.
"Wait" yelled Brother, "I'll go with you" and he jumped up on the rock.
"No" Lovey yelled. "Stay with us!"
"Please" said Pearl. The girls didn't want the little dragon to know they were frightened (they didn't want each other to know they were frightened) but they didn't want any more members of their group running off.
Just then there was a rustling in the bushes right by Brother and out slunk a large, but scrawny, black maned lion with blood on his front paws!



Sorry, have to refresh my cocoa, it's gone cold. Sit tight and you'll hear about Brother's act of selflessness.

All right, all settled now. Here we go....


As the lion moved towards them Brother and the girls backed up to the slowly dying fire.
"Quick, pick up a burning log" yelled Lovey (always a quick thinker). Pearl grabbed one in each hand (always a quick mover).
As they waved the logs in front of them, the lion backed away. But after just a few minutes the flames on the logs sputtered and died. The lion roared and moved in closer.
"No!" yelled Brother as he jumped between the lion and the girls.
Then he reared up on his back legs, threw back his head and let out a roar that put all the lion's roars to shame. His wings unfurled, his scales stood erect and his claws lengthened. And as he brought his head down a stream of fire shot from his throat! The lion yelped in pain, turned and ran off into the waning night.
At that same moment Captain Jack and Silky came racing into the campsite as Sister flew in and landed beside her brother.
There was much confusion with everyone talking at once,
"Where were you?" "What happened?" "We thought the lion got you, it had blood on it's paws!"
Lovey and Pearl had thrown themselves into Captain Jack's arms and he hugged them close. "Praise be you're all right" he said. "When I shot the foul beastie I only wounded him, it was his own blood you were seein'. And we couldn't be finding his trail. Praise be the wee dragon found us and turned us in the right direction."
And as the three of them turned to look at Sister, they saw her and Silky crouching over Brother, who was lying on the ground. They thought for one terrible moment that he was dead, but they realized he was gasping for breath and then coughing.
"Oh, Brother, you know flaming will make you sick." Sister said. As Brother caught his breath he said,
"I thought it would, but I had to do it! Though I don't feel sick, just had trouble getting my breath back."
And just as they were all starting to recover, the mysterious robin reappeared and landed on Brothers head. But this time, the robin wasn't alone. Riding on it's back was a very small, very bright fairy! The fairy floated off the robin and moved beside Brother and magically grew larger and larger. And when it was the size of Lovey and Pearl it spoke.
"I am a fairy of the Magical Kindgom" it said. "And I am here to reward the selfless acts of bravery performed by these two creatures of magic" The fairy turned to Brother and Sister and asked, "What is your hearts desire?"
"To find our family" they said in unison.
"This is a discovery you must make on your own" the fairy replyed. "For family is of the heart, and only you can see what's in your heart. But I will give you a tool to aid you" And the fairy handed to Brother a small ball made of crystal. "In this orb you will be able to see all your family whenever you want."
Then the fairy turned to Captain Jack and said "You have discovered the family of your heart. These two girls I place in your care. Teach them well as it is their heart's desire to join you in your adventures."
Then the fairy turned to Silky and said. "You already know your hearts desire and he is waiting for you just across border. Together you will have a life full of music and love." And with that the fairy vanished!
They loaded their things into the wagon and set off for the border of the Magical Kingdom. And as Brother and Sister settled into the back of the wagon, the robin (who was STILL sitting on Brothers head) twittered into his ear and then flew on ahead.
"Look!" said sister, "something's happening to your crystal ball."
And as they both looked into it they saw a vision emerge. And what they saw was a man and a women, walking on the beautiful streets of the Magical Kingdom and then the robin appeared in the vision and it landed on the shoulder of the woman and twittered into her ear. And the woman turned and looked and smiled. She reached for her husband's hand and he too turned and smiled and they were looking RIGHT AT Sister and Brother!
"It's them, isn't it?" asked Sister.
"What does your heart say?" asked Brother.
They turned to each other, smiled and nodded.

They were off to meet their family......but that's another story!
