Sorry [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color]. I made ohanafamily take me out for breakfast this morning. Then we went to visit some friends that are moving to Indiana next weekend, to say goodbye. And now he's off getting some lunch. (I had him drop me off because I'm not hungry right now.) I'm sure ohanafamily will be calling me in a few minutes - he always seems to do that when he's in the car - and I'll tell him you're looking for him. I'm sure that will get him home quicker.

[color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color], I just got off the phone with your "techie-buddy". Here's what he said.

1) You don't need to purchase the Linksys WPC54G Wireless-G Notebook Adapter because it's already built into your laptop.

2) Get the model # he posted because that has everything, except cable modem, built into it that you need.

3) The reason suggested that model is because HP sells it along with your laptop so should work easier out of the box.

I hope that helps. ohanafamily should be home in 30-45 minutes, but I can easily call him again if you have more questions.

I just get a little nervous about this stuff because I know so little about what I'm doing. It just happened by accident that DS-Daniel was on-line at ToysRUs looking to burn some extra money on another RC car like one we had gotten him for Christmas and I noticed a little box off to the side advertising the exact "thingie" that Ohanafamily was telling me to get. Then below it was that other thing and I freaked for a minute. I'm all better now, thanks to both of you. I am going to go ahead and order it right now.

Hey all, I'm back home. I ate almost (3/4) of a Pizza... I am soooo stuffed.

If you are going to order online, I might suggest CDW; they don't charge tax. I have about 3 of those adapters, but RRBB's Laptop has one built in, the computer I just ordered has one built in, and all ofr the rest are hard-wired.

Just popping in to say

I'm trying to sneak on to the computer to keep up with what's going on but am having trouble finding enough time to post.....my sister just walked in and asked what I was doing, and I said, in my best Gollum voice............sneaking......

May be able to play tomorrow, we have to hang around the house waiting for the heat/air conditioner man....heat went out and, of course, it's turned chilly here. Flannel jammies time!

morning all. Sam is still really sick. Took her in to ER yesterday early am and they gave her IV fluids. But she is still complaining of feeling horrible. She has a really bad headache and achy joints. Meningitis???? God forbid. Waiting to hear from doc. will keep you all posted.

I brought some coffee <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/12/12_13_4.gif' border=0></a>and biscotti to share this morning. Not a very hearty breakfast, I know, but we are running low on food around here. Besides, the flu was like, the best diet ever, and I'm determined not to regain the pounds it took off.

It feels a little strange this morning. Christmas is over, as is the wedding extravaganza, DH is back at work, but the kids are still home all week. I've cleaned up all the Christmas mess and I'm wondering what to do with myself.

We do need groceries. It will be a very extended grocery trip too. That's not fun.

A light breakfast is great after all that I have eaten over the past week..

Before we had kids, DH and I always went skiing for NewYear's eve.. but now we do a special meal at home and a family game night..

The boys want homemade pasta and cheesecake.. not necessarily in that order..We got LOTR Monopoly and LOTR Risk for Hannuakah so.. that will take up most of the board game time..

Not very exciting but fun...

Gave up on the photo as it was midnight while I was working on it! But, if you pop over to the photo gallery here on the DIS you can see a pick of me (and one with my sister, new DISer TiggersPal) as I just downloaded them last night they are right there on the opening page.

Waiting for heat repair man.....of course, it was the coldest night of the year last night......my kitty, who is not a lap sitter, slept plastered next to me all night. If there's any delay getting it fixed today I'm packing us up and moving to my sisters. Bloods gotten pretty thin after 24 years in the desert! It's 54 degrees in the house....feels like 20 below. The sun will hit my front window in about a half hour, that will really help.

Have a great day everyone....I'll sure enjoy being off work this week!

hey every1 .....just woke up like 20 min...ago..having avery nice disney dream lol....guess what i had for breakfast this morning?! Winnie the Pooh Honey Bee's!!!lol...and my sis has Mickey cereal (btw she's 25) lol.....i also had a nice cup of hot chocolate...well nothing like the hot chocolate at the wilderness lodge...*aah the memories* lol well anyways seeing as it's almost lunch time....how about some tonga toast!!
