geffric, I wish we had better weather for you here while you were here. I see you live in Chicago area; have you ever gone to a meet and see Dan Murphy? I was fortunate enough one year to be at WDW at the same time, so we spent an afternoon together at Epcot. He is such a nice man. We had a nice day.

I have not met Dan or any other of the Chi DISers from the boards..maybe at the next DIS meet..
In the past , everytime there has been a DIS meet one of my kids have some function that I need to be at and then I can't go

Hmmm, so [color=33FF33]Depplyinluv[/color], you want a French story from my colored past...I had a female friend of mine (from college) visit me some 10 years ago. She had spent 3 years living in Europe, 2 of them in France. I still spoke French fluently, (actually, my accent is very good we had a teacher from 1st grade that taught French who was actually from there. She always taught us that if we were going to speak the language we should speak it correctly) and we were needing some lunch (or Snackage as the term now goes). We went to this restaurant "La Madeline". Well, there was this 15 YO girl in the serving line who greeted us with a very loud "BON JOUR!" with a very thick southern accent. We were talking about what we wanted, and both kind of slipped from English to French (it happens)...She was saying Maybe I'll have some...BON JOUR!...potage, mademoiselle, quelle est le potage de jour?
(Me) Ca c'est bon, Quelle est le potage do jour... We both sat there looking at her (not realizing what we had done when all of the staff started laughing so hard; it seems no one had actually ever tried to really speak French to the girl. She turned bright red (so did we) but we did get a standing ovation from the room.....



OK, everyone, how about some Nestles Hot CoCoa tonight, or here is also some hot apple cider....

Good morning everyone from windy England. Would anyone like to join me in a cooked breakfast?
Today I plan to have a lazy day. Last night we had friends round some who I hadn't seen for a while which was great. Although I did have to explain to them why we were going to 2 disney parks in a year and why we wanted to go to WDW for Christmas next year! So the plan for today is to do nothing (apart from chat on the dis) and maybe watch some TV.
So would anyone else care to join me in a lazy Sunday?

Danauk are you going to the on the DIS TransAtlantic chat today? Is that what you ment? If so, I think the TAGLIARCHY should try to join in! Have any of you guys done a DIS Chat before....way fun, though sometimes confusing. The TransAtlantic chat on Sundy is at 7PM in the UK....not sure if it's 2PM here in Phoenix or 2PM eastern...I can double check that with Nativetxn and post back here the correct time. I'd LOVE to live chat with you Danauk! OR we can try this for the time question....it's 6:04AM here....what time do you show this post appearing?
