Yes I'm still performing...however I'm on an extended hiatus these days. I'm mostly teaching and doing the day job thing until Spring rolls around. And then I kick into full gear again!

Oh and I think we're heading back to the land in October still. I thought we'd get there sooner...however we want to wait until my MIL has vacation time to take. So we wait....and wait...and wait...

The DW is fine...at this point she's mending and should be back on her feet in a week or two. I'm guessing longer seeing as she's eating this being waited on hand and foot thing with a spoon!

Miss Maggie Lee is great too. Albeit she's decided not to sleep unless you're holding her...and even then not very well...but she's great nevertheless. My mother's been staying with us this week to help out and she's been keeping her all night...we're all getting spoiled by that at this point...and being up all night with the youngun simply isn't my strong suit.

So glad your DW is starting to feel better! You've all been through a rough time. Maggie Lee sounds so sweet. One of my favorite things about a newborn baby is the sweet cooing sounds they make! Now that things are calming down I hope you'll have lots of time to enjoy her!

Rikku, glad to hear you are all doing well. The getting up at night thing is so hard. When Lainie was about a month old, I got up to feed her one night & I was so tired...I said outloud (to myself) " If you think about having another baby, remember how you feel right now this very minute!!" Of course, it does end & I am starting to forget those sleepness nights.

OK, Lewski709 has peaked my interest, I'm going to head to the dark side & see what all the fuss is about. I'm betting it is the same people who argue for the sake of arguing..

Hey ohanafamily! Just in case you are looking for suggestions for the tube tonight, you may want to check out the Bachelorette tonight, I hear it is going to be pretty good. Anyway, just a suggestion.

Hey, are you taking your DMIL to WDW in October? A Magie-Lee Sitter might be helpful, esp if you wanted to go to Fright Nights @ Universal....She is a little young for some of the rides. Maybe we will see you, as we like to go over Halloween...and remember, Maggie Lee has to be 3 before she can be put in the normal kid care (deck 5) on the cruise ship.....

We're taking my DMIL for the specific purpose of watching the little ones when we want to do "big people" stuff. We're going to be a group of myself, my DW my DMIL, DD (13), DD (3), and DD (infant) so it's going to be an adventure. I think we're headed down around first of the month though. I have projects coming up closer to the end of the month so that's out of the questions...

Now my hope is we'll go earlier...if my DMIL can get her vacation time ahead of schedule.

DH submitted his vacation requests for the year today. So, we should be able to start planning our October trip very soon!!! We are aiming for the first week of October. Our trip will include me, DH, DS-4 (will be 5 when we go), DD-1 (will be 22 months when we go, my brother, DSIL ([color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color]), [color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color]'s DS-12, DD-7, DD-1, my mom & my dad. It will definitely be an adventure!!

Got involved in a project I had no business starting today, and no it wasn't my computer. I was cleaning out under the entertainment center and organizing our home movies and I noticed that there was a whole year of our lives not transferred from the little bitty tapes to VHS. So I started digging and found it and some of it was on one little bitty tape and some was on another. It's all over the place. But I'm getting it done and it's been fun looking back at my kids..............

Ohanafamily take your time. I will not be able to check back in tonight for sure.

Rikku, those sleepless nights really don't last forever, as I'm sure you know since you have other children. It seems like everytime you reach a milestone though, you lose something. Sooner than you know it, she won't be all cuddled up on your chest sleeping. She'll be climbing on the coffee table and dancing, like my little Miss Ella bug. And I'm only one year ahead of you. It goes by so fast. Enjoy every minute!

One minute I make up my mind that we aren't going to WDW this spring and then I go and watch some of our old video from a previous trip today.... Why does airfare have to be so high? And why do I have to live 14 hours away anyway? BUT, we WILL be there in October!

Happy anniversary Geffric! Our is coming up in a few weeks.

Hey everyone. Today is one month since Liz passed away I have been pretty down today .So I came on in to see what my friends were up to . Glad I did cause now I see there is a Meet in Oct!
Can I come ? When are we going to converge?
I chose not to go to WDW on the trip I had planned with Liz for Feb. But I am going in April with my DMIL ,I think I will be ready by then . But hey I can go again in Oct if you will let me
