Hey everyone!

DD & DS are having rest time, so I thought I'd check in & say HI!
DS doesn't really nap any more, but I need a mid-day break, so he gets in his bed & watches a DVD while Lainie is napping. It works well & I get to watch General Hospital everyday!!

Well, I'm doing laundry and a little cook-a-thon! Remembered that I had chicken in the fridge that had to be used by TODAY so I'm making Panda Orange Chicken (double recipie so I can freeze half) and chicken Chimichangas! Yum! :happy1:

Well, after reading all the pages to catch up, I have little time to post.

Deadheadbelle, don't you roll your eyes at me! I saw that. I can't help it, I'm so used to multi-tasking that I can't break free of it. I must be doing two things at once at all times or else I'm quite sure the Earth will stop spinning. And the bit about the corn? I really don't think you needed to go there.

I am trying to decide whether to go ahead with our spring break trip as SOMEONE who shall remain nameless, (hint, see above) has checked out and wants to wait until fall now. Airfare is too high and driving that far for that long with DH and Ella won't be fun. What to do? I feel like we only went for a two day trip in Dec. because that's about how much time we ended spending in the parks. Our AP's run out the first of April, so we won't have to pay for passes. I just don't know.......


I'm off to check my e-mails and see if my techie-buddie has any new instructions for me. Have a great rest of the day!

I am traveling this week, so won't be around too much I am at the JDE MUG...

[color=FF66CC]llebrekniT[/color] we have driven when the kids were real little.. it isn't as bad as you think unless Ella won't sit in her car seat..We would stop at all the McD's along the way with playlands, every 2 hours, did a round of diaper changes, let them run in the playland, eat and have ice cream, then they didn't mind going back into the car. If it is a consideration, you might want to leave in the early evening and drive through the night, easy for sleeping kids, Hard on MOM and DAD..

Oh Man! What was I thinking? Thought I'd stop over at the DB and see where everyone was hanging out. Well, there was this thread about a teacher leaving a room full of retarded children alone for a few minutes and something very inappropriate happening while she was away. So, I think to myself...."I'm a teacher, maybe I can cool things down a little." Well, I make a comment about it not being my place to judge and the OP goes off!

So, here I am safe and sound! I think I'll stay here from now on!

Great idea.. if we get a cage we could send them on the plane in that and then have the kids stay in the pet area at WDW.or what if we splurge and buy one MUG for them to share.. and there are some nice couches for them to sleep on at Grand Floridian in the lobby area and a TV for them to watch..the CM would watch them That way we could all have a great vacation

There's a thread asking if making your child miss dinner is child abuse....they'd really have fun with the broom closet sleeping quarters! hehehehehe....

Stopping often is a great idea but do not, I repeat, do not let your kids play in those playplaces. They are germ havens. Esp before a trip to WDW. I always freak about those ball pits. I know the balls are rarely cleaned, if ever (I know a Mc D employee). Gross!!! Drive at night and get a tv/dvd/vcr for the car.
