Hey Poohlovr - we're getting close now!!! Are ya dancin' yet???![]()
I had a package delivered in April. Just make sure it is addressed to....Okay, so my iphone obsessed dh is ordering the new iphone, but when it is scheduled for delivery we will be @ Dolphin. Is it possible to get it delivered there?![]()

HAHAH SingingMom, you're even closer! I can't even stand it, my students think I have gone absolutely bonkers!
DD is up to her neck in studying for finals, and then she is competing in a horse show, I have my 30th HS class reunion, and she has a slew of graduation parties - I have no clue when she and DH are going to pull out their clothes to pack!!!(mine have been sitting on the chair in our bedroom for two weeks now, patiently waiting....
)

DD is in the same boat - had he Honor's Chemistry exam today, then calculus and Honors Anat and Phys on Monday, poor thing! I'm going crazy with the whole shoe thing - I can't figure out which shoes I want to bring!!! I think I asked you this before, but what does your DD show? I used to do hunter/jumpers and eventing but since going back to school all of that went by the wayside! A 30th reunion sounds fun!!!!
That will be a lot of fun to see things through the eyes of a two year old! Happy birthday to your grandson, too! I'll bet both will love the Grotto Pool too!Not dancing yet, but getting pretty excited! This will be my grandson's first visit to WDW (he turned 2 in April) and I can't wait to show it all to him!! My oldest grandson will celebrate his 18th birthday on our first day there. He said he always wanted to have dinner at LTT on his birthday, so this year, that's going to happen.
I can't wait!
I just returned from the Dolphin a few days ago and can also confirm that there is wireless internet in the rooms. I was in the East Wing 8th floor and was able to log on to it from my iPhone (didn't bring a laptop). And it is included in the mandatory $10/night fee.
Also, they do have the Bliss Mandarin and Mint soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lotion (no shower gel).
Oh, and I think someone asked about the pool towels - in my opinion, they are just fine and certainly no need to bring your own.
We booked a standard room and were very fortunate to be upgraded to an Epcot fireworks view with balcony! (I'm a regular SPG member, not platinum.)
It was a fabulous trip and our experience at the Dolphin was every bit as nice as our previous visits. My only disappointment was that they closed the Cabana pool bar quite early one evening because there was a threat of thunderstorm - ended up that it never rained a drop that evening - ha! I had really wanted to eat there because they have a sandwich I enjoy.
We ate only at Picabu and Fountains, but if anyone has any other questions, I'd be happy to try to answer!

DD is a "level 4" rider, if that means something. (I'm not a rider, as you can tell. lol) She is competing in cross bar jump from a canter.
Last trip, I brought three pairs of crocs: my flip flops, a black dressier pair and a tan pair. They went with everything, were comfortable, didn't take up much room. I did wear my merrells to travel - very comfortable and easy to slip off at airport security.

Thanks.
The 2 yr old will probably just spend his time in the kiddie pool, altho I did get him some water wings and a float and may try him out in the spring pool. We'll see how that goes when we get there.
Odd thing about the older 2 (the birthday boy and his 15 yr old brother)-they told me they aren't sure they're even going to swim any this trip. That's strange, because they love the grotto pool and love to swim. It's sometimes been a chore in the past to get them out of there and on to lunch or whatever.
Who knows what goes on in the mind of a teen-ager.![]()

Oh boy, do I understand this - DD is 17. But I think we'll be doing quite a bit of swimming. We don't get much chance up here in Vermont with our super short summers!
How fun!!!! You're going to have a great time!!! LTT is one of our faves too!
That's awesome your DD is jumping - I sure miss it - wish her luck at her show! I've tried crocs and they just don't work for me. My old standbys - 2 pairs of columbia sandals - are getting kind of old, so I'm thinking I might have to do some shopping. I love Merrill clogs, so maybe I'll check out some sandals.
It's another rainy weekend here in Vermont - I really need me some Florida sun! 26 days...
Thanks! Don't know where she gets the nerve, it scares me to watch her!!
The Merrell sandals are fantastic - I have a few pairs - but get them early enough to BREAK THEM IN! Otherwise, ....
It's been a stressful, busy week - I am SO LOOKING FORWARD to those Dolphin Heavenly Beds!!!and the cabana bar, and the grotto pool, and .... and.. and.. !!!

Okay, I'm back and I ended up with a mishmash of shoes. Merrell sandals, Teva Mush flips and Skechers tone up flip flops. I'm not really a flip flop person because I really can't stand the thing between my toes, but those Skechers are INCREDIBLY comfortable. I walked around Costco for several hours and my feet felt fabu!!!!
Sounds like you are more than set.
I can't wear the Teva - my feet are too small... lol... but I really love my Merrells. No matter what you wear, watch out for those stress point blisters. DH wraps his feet in moleskin every day.![]()
