Staying at the Dolphin next week. :cool1: This is our first time renting a car. I have the directions to the Dolphin in this thread....Where can we stop for a grocery stop along the way? We're looking to buy cereal, milk, beer, water, snacks.

Thanks. :thumbsup2

I just got our travel documents from AAA today!!:banana::banana:

When we've stayed at Disney-owned hotels, we got the park tickets at the resort. This made sense because they are also the room key.

So, I was expecting to get my park tickets today, since they won't be the same as the room key. But they aren't in the packet. My agent was out today, but one of the others said she thought I'd get them when we check in. Is that right? Do they usually give you your park tickets when you check in at the Swan/Dolphin, when you have a AAA package?

Thanks!

Does the gift shop in the Dolphin carry the lanyards with the ID holder pouch to carry your room key/tickets/fp's ?

Is the ID holder lanyard pocket pouch water proof ?

I read on another thread the WDW resorts carry them in their gift shops.

Thanks !

Daisy's Garden has many of the same items found in other WDW resort shops and gift shops in the park. I am pretty sure I saw the lanyards this past June. :wizard:

I LOVE Daisy's Garden!! Must stop by this trip even though we're not at the Dolphin.Miss it there!

Even though park gift shops will ship purchases to the Dolphin (for pick up at Daisy's Garden) I like to browse through the shop and save some of my souvenier shopping for there. Many of the traditional gifts are there and I just find it easier. (I save the "specialty" purchases for the parks.) :earsboy:

Hi everyone
Does anyone know if the Swan carries ESPN in it's tv lineup?
snels

ESPN is on the TV lineup for both the Swan and Dolphin.

Pikabu, at the Dolphin, is the only place to get drinks, etc. that you can keep in a refrigerator. They do not have larger size cartons of milk. Those are available at either the Screen Door on the Boardwalk or at the Beach Club Marketplace because both are DVC properties. If you have a car you may want to try the Hess station between the Boardwalk and DTD. Their prices will be lower and they will have a larger selection.

It has been a few years since I took a rental car from the airport to the Dolphin but not too far from the airport there was a Wal-Mart on the right that I stopped at. Maybe someone else can tell you more details.

Have a great trip!

Yes, yes, yes, me too! I need a deal for Feb S/D. The rack rates are so high right now and I don't qualify for teacher, govt or nurse. I joined Starwood and am AAA member. I remember reading a post where someone had a good Feb. deal last year but it didn't come out until mid to late Oct. last year to book.
