Uggggghhhhh! It all started with a phone call from First Energy. They have to do emergency work at our house tomorrow. As in
no electricity. I thank them for calling and ask out of curiosity how long we'll be without the lifeblood of our house and they say "We're not really sure what the problem is so we can't give you a definite time."

Our alarm clocks are connected to the walls.
The food in our fridge finds comfort from the electricity flowing into it.
Our furnace is electric ignition.
I could go on but you get the picture.
I'm gonna be cold and miserable tomorrow morning... and I have a
. I've got so much Dayquill in me I feel like a giant orange cough drop.
I've gotta come up with ways to look on the bright side of this. Maybe I can make the workmen hot chocolate and they might move really fast on this job. (I'm serious here...no chocolate jokes please)
Anyway, thanks for letting me vent. I don't feel 100% better but I bet it's the medicine talking.
