Love Outburst! We play that with DHB and also Scattergories. We also play the Disney Trivia board games.

I'm with you on the mens magazines, in fact I think they're rather yucky. And I'm not surprised, I figured there was a limit to your wildness.

Does anyone out there play their kids video games?

llebrekniT I don't have any kids but do have a PS2 of my own to play!! I'm playing my Harry Potter world cup Quiditch at the moment. One good thing about teaching 7 year olds is that they can help me when I get stuck!! My DH is playing Lord of the rings, return of the king.

My favourite board game is Cluedo.

Used to love to play Zelda on sega. Still have it, would need to relearn all the tricks if I popped it in again. Ooooh yeah, I like Scattegories too.

I'm so sad....Saturday night we were at OKW, eating at Bahama Breeze, and shopping at Downtown Disney.... now we're back in Atlanta and gearing up to go back to work tomorrow. Darn.... if only we could win the lottery...(guess maybe we should play, if we wanna win) :) .

:)

I hear ya Ginny. Just another reason we are trying to move to the area.

So, here's a question for ya'll..............put the house up for sale, then move or obtain a job (currently looking), leave DH and kids behind to join me later? DH can get a job once he is there. I don't know how long I can stand to be without them, but I would hate to move with no jobs and the house not sell for 7months.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

I would love to work at WDW as a performer/singer..Maybe one day.:sunny:

Hey Hey All! I haven't found a pic yet for the album, but I'll keep looking. I want one with all of us in it and so far the only one is from BB. (There is no way I'm posting me in a bathing suit

In answer to your question llebrekniT

Lewski709, my mom did that when I was 4 years old. My father was getting out of the Army, and we were living in Virginia. They wanted to move to Pennsylvania, and find jobs up there, so my mom went up to PA, got a job and we followed a few months later, after Dad seperated from the Army.

I admit my biggest fear in life is unemployment, as I have been working since before I turned 16 and couldn't imagine not having a job. Is it possible for you to do most of the interviewing and job applying long distance and then go down as you get closer to being hired?

Another possibility...Can your hubby move down and get a job and a house and such and then you move down right after? Since it sounds like he could find a job more easily?

Hi..

Bichon Barb love the shirt.. I saw one at the chocolate store the other day and now I can't remember what it said...Hmm Brain freeze... must be the weather certainly NOT my age..LOL.. re the bathroom..maybe RickinNYC will let you use his wand and it will be clean by magic.. I keep asking Santa for house elves to do all the work.. but so far none have shown up yet..

Lewski709 I have always been a conservative person.. so I would do the job thing 1st.. andKismetdreams has a good dea if your DH can get a job faster .. will that work for you??

Starz723 Hi MArge.. I'm Susan and I am hopelesslly and totally addicted to CHOCOLATE... My kids pin trade and I have a few precious pins too..

Board Game..we play a lot of Monopoly, Risk, scrabble.. and my fav Disney trivia..

I have not tried the kids game cube games and I flunked the game boy games - too uncoordinated to get which button to push when..

I just got back from taking the boys out to lunch.. now I need to get back to work..TTFN

Actually, I'm very anti accessories. I have four purses--well, four that I use: My everyday brown leather, a small black woven type, a small beige woven type, and now my silly black leather with the hot pink stitching! :teeth: I'm always wearing the same earrings, and I have to take all my rings off when I'm lounging around or going to bed. I think my fingers have claustrophobia.

Oh yeah, and did I mention that I'm shoe deprived?

Okay, board games? Yuk! My kids pull out the Monopoly, and I run for the hills. :moped: Board games are just another excuse for my kids to argue. I don't mind Trivial Pursuit with a group of grown-ups, and I'd love to play the Disney trivia game.

So, I guess I'll say "Pitch". I like to play Pitch. Partners--boys against girls is best. I usually win. :smooth:

Hey Lewski!!!! Syracuse University is playing Notre Dame tonight. I'll be cheering for the ORANGE!!!!!!. :p :p :p

Oh, we have PS2. I can't even watch when the boys are playing. It makes me dizzy.

Hey everyone!!!

WELCOME TO THE TAGLIARCHY Starz723!!!!! You will love it here. Someone usually brings breakfast in the morning & we snack throughout the day....without ever gaining a pound!!!

Welcome back gdulaney. So, how was your trip??? On your favorite day, what did you do? Where was your place at OKW? We've stayed twice & both times we stayed in the same area. Once you enter, & pass the check-in area (on the left), you drive & drive & drive until the end. When you drive around the cul-de-sac, our building was on the right. Make sense? I'm sure you OKW owners know the name of where we stayed, but I have no clue. Oh, when we went out on the patio, we were looking at a green on the golf course.

Lewski709, I don't know what to tell you! A very tough decision. I guess you need to find a job first (you mentioned before that you are the main breadwinner, right?) & DH will find one wherever you go, right?? Geez, I wish someone would just offer you a job already! I'm sure it will all work out. DH is a firm believer that everything will work out & I have become that way, too. I guess it's the power of positive thinking. So, stay positive!!!

We have PS2 & I play sometimes. I love Tetris, too disneyluvers. Let's see, my favorite game would be hmm....I like Outburst. I also like Pictionary. DH & I used to play Scrabble all the time when we first got married.

Time for General Hospital. Talk to ya later...

Don't get me started on shoes and purses!! I am a crazy person...I love sandles..I own 11 dozen sandles all different even though my DH insist some are the same, THEY ARE NOT!!

And my current purse obsession is Burberry! GOT HAVE IT!! I even have the shoes to match!!

Is there a Burberry Anonymous..I need help!

Oh, I almost forgot!!! My favorite game is Euchre. I haven't played in sooo long. It is so much fun!!! I like to play while having cocktails.:teeth:

I am not a big shoe person. I have 1 pair of brown leather Birkenstock sandals that I wear every single day Spring through Fall (unless I am going somewhere dressy). In the winter I have a pair of brown leather born shoes & a black leather pair of slip-on Clark's.

I have a brown leather purse, but currently carry a yellow Vera Bradley quilted purse that matches the monstrosity that is the DIAPER BAG!!!

DisneyDmbNut, I love Burberry too. Alas, I own none.

DisneyDmbNut you make me feel much better. I have 8 pairs of flip flops (not sure if that is what you call them in the USA, the sort of shoes you wear around the pool but not sandals.) My DH and friend eeyorewood laughs at me because of them but like you have said: THEY ARE ALL DIFFERENT!! I'm a bit fussy about handbags (purses?) and I tend to buy them when I see one I like. My current obsession are knee high boots. I have 4 pairs out right now, one black and 3 in different shades of brown.

Hi Marge, welcome to the TAGLIARCHY. We are a friendly bunch of people.

Deadheadbelle I got both of mine on Ebay (and the shoes) but you MUST be careful...there are many fakes out there that "claim" to be AUTH. You have to find a reputable dealer and use them!

Danauk yes...we call them flip flops..but some call them thongs if they are dressy. I have a pair on now, even though it is 71 ( which is cold for me ) i ALWAYS wear sandles...gives me an excuse to get my regular pedicure...MY TOES MUST LOOK PRESENTABLE!

OH YEA!!!

My boss just called and said I can go home...good thing, I have been on this computer WAY too much today!

Thanks DisneyDmbNut there are so many things that we have different names for in England compared to the USA. Over here they would never be called thongs, they are something really different!! One thing that made me laugh like a naughty schoolgirl whilst at WDW was what Americans call waist pouches (or we call them bum bags) - over here that again is something really different!!

Another sandal nut here! I hate having my toes enclosed! You should see me everyday after work...12 seconds to get off a pair of combat boots and let my tooties breathe! :)

My mom offered me a pair of shoes for the wedding and I told thanks, but I need air over the feet, so I ordered a pair of sandals. Couldn't find a nice pair of flip-flops, otheriwse I'd be in those. LOL!

My mom always gives me strange looks at Christmas, when I go to church in sandals in the snow and ice in PA. Living in CA, I am spoiled!

Oh, and the Brit words vs. American words...

I was in England with my unit and a bunch of us went out for a drink in a local pub and I called my one friends name... "Randy!" Shoulda seen the looks I got! :)

After 3 years working daily with people from all over the UK, I learned lots of words have "unique" meaning over ther as opposed to in the US.
