I told Fred to ask for it, so tht it wouldn't just keep growing...especially since the Box is no longer there...Such stupid people in this world!

hmmmmmmmmmmm, wine and chocolate polls....I've been busy this week with a poll a day. Now, think think think, what else is important in life?

Brownies, ice cream, ice cream sundaes, cookies, chocolate cheesecake, chocolate fondue, flourless chocolate cake, dessert pizza, mickey bars, dole whips.. need anymore ideas???

Wow! My only morning this week to run errands and I miss it all.
Checked out the WL Memory Thread. Whoaa! There is always 1 idiot that may post a semi good point of view but they always screw it up because they have absolutely no people skills. This (and I use the term figuratively) "lady" was just plain mean. She sounde like she personally owned the property on which the box was kept. Sheesh! Give me a break!

Now on to happier news:

dawgfan I am so relieved to hear that your baby will pull through. It's a tough decision to make, but young are very resilient and adapt well. (It's true of animals as well as humans)

DisneyDmbNut Way to Go!! Your responses to the "witch" were perfect. I wish I would've gotten home sooner but I don't think I would've been able to add anything like ohanafamily
and RickinNYC
and Queen Lewski709 did.

Now I gotta go find out if any Chocolate Covered Strawberries are left. If anyone has any leftovers please send them my way.:teeth:

Hi all. :wave2: I'm so tired today, want a nap badly. I woke at 5am remembering that I forgot to take some medication before bed last night. Of course then I couldn't get back to sleep, and once I did the doorbell rang. When are they going to finally finish the work in our bathroom???

dawgfan, I'm so glad your little puppy is going to be okay. Like others have said, he's young and strong, he'll bounce back. Just look at that girl in Hawaii that had her arm chomped off by a shark a few months ago. She's back to surfing again, in competition no less.

OMG, they're predicting snow here for tomorrow. Okay, no real accumulation like some of you have gotten, but any amount is too much for me. I don't want any snow. Heck, I don't even want the cold temperatures. I am NOT a winter person.

<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_15_11.gif' border=0></a>, it seems that everytime Tex. gets snow, we in KY get a lot of snow a few days later. I better check and see which way the wind is blowin'......

Are we finished rating the boys?

dawgfan, I am SOOOO happy for you and your little puppy. I love Jack Russells, they are among the cutest of all puppies in the dog world. We came thisclose to getting one once. After watching the puppies daddy climb a tree <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4/4_6_104.gif' border=0></a>, we decided they might be a little hard to contain. Anyway, they have such a great attitude, so fun-loving, I bet that little feller just keeps on goin'. I had a friend with a 3 legged dog. And there was a deer in the subdivision where we used to live that 3 legs. Everyone called him tri-pod. We had a ferret when we were first married that broke his leg. We had very little money back then and paid about $450 to have an operation on him to put a pin in it. He was fine after that, barely even limped. I'm so glad everything is going to be OK. Great news!

I forgot to tell you this the other day, RRBB, that picture that Ohana posted of you was soooooo cute! Did you put it in our album?

This is my all time favorite picture from WDW. It's about two years old.

Isn't it precious and priceless?

Got Ella bug a dress for her pictures and also got a little more b-day shopping done for Daniel. He's almost done now. Whoopie!

Back later!

Hey everyone!!

Just back from Toys R Us & the Mall with llebrekniT. I found a dress for Lainie that was 75% off. I guess it was a fall dress, but it looks more like spring to me... $7. Bargain.

dawgfan, I am so glad to hear that Buster is going to be OK. After what he went through when he was born, 3 legs should be no sweat!

OK, who wants to give me a quick run-down on the WL thing. I clicked on the link, but it looks really long & I really don't know what is going on.

Welcome to the TAGLIARCHY, honeywolf7.

HuggaBaloo, good luck apartment hunting. Any job interviews lined up?

Well, I made hotel reservations for the second weekend in May in Rochester. Still waiting for airfare to drop. I am still freaking out a bit about leaving the kids. It is only 2 days & I am not worried about the kids. They are staying with my parents & will have a good time, I just hope I can have a good time & not worry the whole time. The good thing is that the reception is being held at the same hotel where we are staying. No driving. WOO HOO!

Hi everyone,
How are we all this evening? Today was quite a good day at work. I managed to get a few jobs done that I have been meaning to do for a while. The children are not in school tomorrow as we have a staff training day - planning meetings and some maths training. Then a week off !!!! Plus the some of the staff are going out for the night. We are planning to go for a meal and then to a club. I haven't been out for a while and am looking forward to a good dancing session.
I have a few things planned for next week, I'm going to a health spa on Sunday then shopping with my SIL next week. I'm not sure what else though. DH is off next week as well but he is going in to his old school for a few days to help our friend with some ICT things (not sure exactly what!)
Well its nearly 8pm here and DH will be home soon (he had a parents evening tonight) so I better think about getting some food ready for when he gets in. Then tonight is a good TV night - new episodes of Friends and ER!
I hope everyone has a good evening.:teacher:

Welcome back stranger. You miss one day and you have at least 15 pages to catch up. Heck if you miss a few hrs you are big time behind!!

Thanks! You're so right... two pages posted while I was at my folks'.

dawgfan I'm so glad Buster is going to make it. :) Whew!

Speaking of doggies... I found a "present" when I let Max (our mini Schnauzer) in just a few minutes ago.

A dead squirrel. :faint: Poor little guy. :(

We have a fenced back yard, but it is huge (we live on 3.5 acres) and there are TONS of squirrels. Apparently one of them was slower moving than the rest. I don't know if Max got him or if one of the neighborhood cats did the deed (our 2 kitties are strictly indoor cats). This could explain Max's mysterious gastrointestinal illness several days ago...

TNCarole, our cat (who mysteriously disappeared about a year ago :( ), Biggie, used to leave "presents" on our back porch all the time. Good thing is, she got rid of the moles. Apparently, we had a bunch of moles in the backyard. Not anymore!!

Danauk, enjoy your time off!!!! Have fun dancing tonight.

OK, I am sooo sad right now! I made brownies with peanut butter chips for Survivor tonight & I didn't set the timer as I didn't want the beeping to wake up DD. Well, I checked them with about 5 minutes to go & they looked great. Came upstairs, checked airfare to Rochester.....20 minutes later....I smell brownies....AAAAAaaaaaahhhhhh!!!! I cannot believe it! They weren't burned, but they definitely won't be gooey, yummy like I had planned. I am tempted to head to the store when DD-Lainie gets up & get some more.

I know, with all the trouble in the world should I really be this upset??? NO, but I have been looking forward to those brownies all week!!!

Oh man! I just tried a little bite of the brownies. Just as I suspected. They were dry, not chewy. Peanut butter chips were crispy, not gooey. GGGGRRRRRR

It all started when she realized she didn't have enough oil for them. So she did an emergency substitution, which is all she could do at the time. She used applesauce for the remaining amount of oil she needed. This can be done, but I don't normally advise it.

Let me tell you something else. I happened to be on the phone<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_7_3.gif' border=0></a> with DHB when she realized the brownies had been in the oven waaaaaayyyy too long. Forget the brownies, my ears are still burning, I can't believe the things she said, the words that came out of that one's mouth.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/4_3_5.gif' border=0></a> I don't believe I'm allowed to say those words and I'm definetly not allowed to post them here.<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_2_91.gif' border=0></a>

Most of all I'm worried about what she'll do now. She may have to bundle those babies up and head back to the store. She can't just not have any "Survivor"<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/1/1_4_51.gif' border=0></a> snacks. But time is running out. Go to store, pick up brownies, wait in line, head back home, rush-hour traffic, fix dinners AND bake brownies...... It's not going to be easy. But what else can she do?

Me? Oh I'm fine, I baked the exact same kind of brownies hours ago. They're nestled on top of the stove, cooked to perfection. Ahhhh! Can't wait!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/5/5_1_116.gif' border=0></a>

I must admit "dead squirrel"<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/16/16_11_3.gif' border=0></a> wasn't what first sprang to mind when you said you found a "present".<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/10/10_2_7.gif' border=0></a> Whew, I'm GLAD it was a squirrel.
