No, they have not been wacked with my magic tag wand. But you both, on the other hand, best watch out. It's raised up to the heavens and ready to smack you both in your heads for being so dirty minded!

That is so funny...sex problems!!

On that note, anyone that is having those kinds of problems just needs to practice a bit more!

Good morning (barely... it's almost noon here :p ) TAGLIARCHY !

ohanafamily Sorry to hear of your virus woes. :( Good luck with the fixing!

I can attest to that! I get behind a lot. :teeth:

dawgfan Prayers going out for your puppy. I'm a pet lover, too (1 dog and 2 cats) so know how worried you must be. Here's hoping for encouraging news for you this morning.

Watch out for those extensions!

Welcome back stranger. You miss one day and you have at least 15 pages to catch up. Heck if you miss a few hrs you are big time behind!!

HuggaBaloo, if we have to move, the new home will be posted on the color wheel....

Speaking of which, after my virus problems are fixed we may move the color wheel...Secret Suprize...I will let RRBB break the story when it happens...

OK, I have an appointment at 3:00 today, so for the two hours I am out how many pages do you think you Chatty Cathy's will do...a good question for Danauk's class?

I am going to send a couple of quick e-mails, and then look into computer upgrades for "Plaza" just in case a certain DW wants to know what I am doing now.....

Oh, and for what it is worth, I have a commercial virus scanner that checks every file written to disk, and updates itself daily. The virus I was hit with is almost a year old, and I am not real happy with Mcafee; we just spent about $3500 on the licenses for the software last December...

PRACTICE!!

LOL!! I should be an Olympian by now!!

LOL..TMI...sorry!!!

That was something ohanafamily said in my defense!!

OK, this is rediculous. While I posted my last post, there were almost a whole page of new posts...Poor people who go to WDW...

BTW, DisneyDmbNut, do you not agree that the person in question on the WL thread HAS A SEX PROBLEM?

Oh, and I would have nominated Baloo for Lewski's title..

Back to E-mails

Just back from the veteranarian. The pixie dust must have worked to some degree. My pup Buster won't be perfect but he will get along okay. It seems there is no internal damage. He has two fractures that are easily mended in his right leg. The problem came in when the x-ray showed the bottom portion of the leg below the knee area. He has basically a crushed foot. Several pieces of bone fragment are visible. This was unfixable in the vets mind. He is not in pain as he has been medicated and seems to be doing well. We were able to love on him. She did offer the idea of Ortho surgery by a specialist, but it could be over $3000.00 and probably would give no more than minor use in the leg. She then said the only other two alternatives were amputation or putting him to sleep. I told her that I could not see putting him to sleep as a viable option here as he dog is perfectly healthy in every other regard. He is only 8 months old. He is also my wifes favorite of the three young pups born in June. The vet advised that the surgery was traumatic and the recovery long. With time the dog would make do with his handicap. We are going with amputation and he will lose the portion of his leg just below the knee. I hate that but hate losing the dog more. He will be okay. I have had a pet with an amptutaion before, a cat, and he was fine. He lived a long life and got around well. There is a three legged dog in our neighborhood that gets around extremely well. The irony here seemed to be the fact that this particular pup was the first born of a litter of three to my Jack Russell. He has a different father than the other two pups (all muts-momma got out one day and failed to return for about two hours). I did not know that was even possible at the time. The pups are small dogs but this one was two and half times larger than the other two. He hung up the works as my Jack Russell went into labor and he had to be physically taken out of the mother by assistance from the vet that we spoke with today. There I was in the office on June 20, a mere 5 hours away from an anniversary trip to WDW when the dogs were born. We had made reservations long before we knew the momma dog was pregnant. When Buster came into the world it was traumatic. He had taken in amniotic fluid and been stuck during labor for a good while. The vet did not give him much chance at survival but said that it appeared that he just would not give up. Needless to say he was tough enough and made it. I know he is tough enough to make it through this. Keep slinging the dust!

Hmm..what can I have for lunch today...do they make chocolate soup..Bacon, Lettuce and Godiva sandwiches..

if's it chocolate can it be bad?

(I did just get back from seeing Tinkerbell)

dawgfan
Thank you for the update. I'm so glad there isn't enough damage to his foot to put him to sleep. I think you are doing the right thing. He sounds like a real trooper from day one!! I've seen a few 3 legged dogs and they do considerably well. They adapt. Plus he is still a baby. So glad he doing ok and not in any pain. Will be a long recovery for all of you. Please keep us updated!! I know how easily a doggie becomes part of the family. Had to have our 17 yr old papillon put to sleep a few years ago. I still cry over her often. :(
