I don't think Taylor would work at all.
I'm just under the impression, that if they went for with New Moon & Eclipse (like if Twilight does good & Stephanie gives them rights) that he wouldn't be able to look old enough for the role.
Sure it'd be fine in Twilight, but as it would go on, no, it wouldn't work.

I think Taylor would do alright in Twilight, but for New Moon and Eclipse, I hope there are movies of them, he won't work.
They would have to find someone new.
I think Steven Strait would do good as Jacob.

I pictured the whole Quillette tribe as Caucasian too. It just didn't click to me when I was reading that they are native americans.
