Aloha!

Unfortunately the rooms at the Poly don't come with computers in them (the Contemporary Resort has them) so you'd have to bring your laptop along. There is high-speed internet available for a fee.

Hope that helps! :thumbsup2

Thank you so much! I really appreciate it! It's so nice to be able to connect with people to get the answers! I love this board!

Wow....only 19 more days. Woooooooooot! Actually only 15 more days until we leave as we are driving down and stopping at my mom's in SC on the way down. :thumbsup2

Anyway, I posted an update on the Poly photopass session here....

But the long and short of it is that is should be available by the end of this week, and the Photopass CM's are really excited about it as the photos are turning out really nice. The Photopass kiosk will be upstairs in the GCH, the CM made it sound like directly above check-in. They're not taking ressies yet, but he said walk-ups shouldn't be a problem.

I am hoping that someone posts their experience with the Poly photo shoot. Will you be doing that when you are there?

We are back!!!!!!!!!! And hooked on the Poly forever!!!!! I will write more of a review later but I will say this.....we were upgraded from a regular garden view room to a concierge garden view in the Hawaii building!!!! Although it was not an official Magic Dream it sure felt like one to us. :tink: It was the perfect start to an awesome vacation. More info and photos to come. :cloud9:

That's great! I'm glad you enjoyed your stay and had an extra little pixie dust thrown in. Can't wait to hear more.

I have been second guessing spending so much money on our hotel vs saving and staying at a value resort or at SOG. But now I am more excited than ever. My boss just got back from a week long stay at ASMov. He said the room was very small and the beds were too small for him and his wife to sleep together. They each had to sleep with one of their kids instead. He said the buses were slow and packed. He had to wait over an hour one time to get a bus that was not full. I am so glad we decided splurge on our trip this year. The thought of hopping on the monorail to get to the park or back to the hotel sounds so nice. We will probably drive to DHS and AK because we have a AAA Diamond Pass and can park up close. Plus we will have our stroller with us and it will be easier to take in and out of the car vs the bus (decided to bring our own stroller after the prices went so high for the rentals).

I can't wait for the November calendar to come out next week so I can plan which days to go to which parks.

I feel exactly the same way! We are staying at the Poly next week, although my DH thinks we're staying at POR (he just went with that because it was the cheapest for our family of 5+1!) My DD2 is going through a tantrum stage right now, and to be able to zip right to the monorail and back to the resort will come in very handy...

Wow! That would be a dream come true! Can't wait to hear about it!

Does anyone have the current e-mail for Poly club level? I've been trying to reach them and haven't heard back yet--I think I've got the wrong address.

You and me both. They called me in Feb but we were at WDW at the time. I finally called but told them I'd email. I tried the email he gave me which was different than the one in my address book. Deleted the old one, of course...duh! And then the new one bounced back.

This was on another thread... is it any better than what you all have?
