I'm not sure of the names of the long houses I'd recommend. But, I do suggest that you get a garden view that faces the quiet pool. that whole area has lush gardens and the quiet pool is just that....quiet. The morning always brings the locals (cute critters) out. And it's soo serene. It's a perfect way to wake up with your favorite coffee blend. It's worth a quick walk to the GCH for kona coffee. Then just sit back, catch your breath, take in the surroundings and look forward to the magic of the day.

That's how it goes for any Club Level floor or building at the Deluxe Resorts, so it's nothing new at the Polynesian.Even the check-in is handled differently there. You don't check in at the GCH if you're staying concierge level...you go dierectly to the Hawaiian long house and check in there.
As much as I love the Summer, I can't wait for this one to be over and I'm on my way back to paradise.![]()

I'm so glad to her that you had a wonderful vacation. I've stayed in the Hawaiin bldg a number of times. But I'm considering doing one of the suites is Tonga next trip (Oct can't come soon enough).
I very much look forward to all the details and hope you'll include photos of your suite. I've looked for photos of the suites but have only found the king suite so far. iIt's absolutely gorgeous, but fr too big for my needs.
I believe there is a princess suite there with only one bedroom. That would be perfect for me.

PS:
Here's an interesting note...years ago, the Hawaii bldg. was called Tonga.
