The NEW Official November 2010 Countdown & Planning Thread ~ Come join us! (Part 2)

Hello Nov friends!! I have been a busy bee here...not necessarily for Disney either...just life in general....I had one ADR I wanted to try to get moved up a little earlier, I need to check on that today...if I get it, I will be totally planned!! I have one day that we are gonna use as a day to go to either Hollywood or Epcot and re-ride whatever we want to...so that is a day not etched in stone...which is odd for me, but the kids and hubby are happy about! ....I think we will go see the Main Street Elec Parade again that evening,so it's not totally unplanned!
Between now and Halloween I will be a busy girl...getting Christmas bought, and all that goes with it! Decorating...finishing up our school, packing...I am tired just thinking about it!!! ..I am headed over to check out the packing cubes now! Thanks for the heads up!

I just came home from AC Moore and bought plain t-shirts and the transfer sheets. My question is, does anyone know of any good websites for free Disney graphics to make our own t-shirts?

We just made our Disney reservations today. We'll be there from Nov 12 - 16 :cool1: so please add us to your list!! YAYYYYYYY

We're staying at POR

Hi there! Late subscriber but excited to be here. My DH and I are arriving at WDw on Nov 28 and staying through Dec 3. It'll be our first stay at the Poly and first trip with just the two of us - no extended family! :yay:

Can't wait to read more about everyone's plans!

Of course I was already excited for our trip, but after reading everyone's plans I'm even more excited - who knew it was even possible?? The one ADR is made (DH was not a fan of having to plan our day around our ADRs last year). Final payemt will be made next Monday. Itinerary is set. Haven't bought tix yet, but planning on MVMCP on 11/12 - anyone else going to be there?

I have a bunch of 11-12 yr olds coming over Sat night for DS12 b-day party, so i've been spending a bit of time this week planning for that. Should be fun!

Good luck to you!! :wizard: I know what it's like to have a house full of boys!! :upsidedow Have fun!

Count me in with the November bunch! My 25 year old son & I will be heading back to the World for our 2nd "Mom & Son" trip beginning November 28th. We'll be staying at SSR from 11/29 - 12/4 & at one of the DTD hotels, the Buena Vista Palace Hotel & Spa, from 12/4 - 12/7.

So far, we will not be doing the DDP & have ADR for:

Kona Cafe (lunch the day of MVMCP & breakfast the full day of Magic Kingdom)
50's Prime Time Cafe - dinner
Chefs de France for - lunch
Tutto Italia for our 8:15 p.m. CP dining package on 12/2

We've got tickets for MVMCP on 11/30 & can't wait! (I haven't been to WDW around the Christmas holiday in 5 years & my son never has!).

:welcome:

I just popped in to read the last few pages, so I don't get too far behind!! My laptop at home is out of commission - - - we think its the battery and DH is having a tough time finding a replacement online. Last night he announced, "the only one I can find is $70" and I replied, "well that's cheaper than a new laptop, so order it!" I'm typing this at work (shhhhh!) because I don't know when I'll log in again.

Its forecasted to be a beautiful fall weekend here in Massachusetts (although it is rainy this morning), so I might try to convince the family to go apple picking. It is my favorite Fall thing to do and last year we missed the picking season and had to buy a bag of apples at the farmstand (NOT the same :snooty:). I also get the best pictures of my kids when we're apple-picking. I just found some last weekend of my little guy - - SO CUTE!

I hope to check in later!

UGH :headache: I hate computer issues!

Have a great weekend! :goodvibes

Just subscribed to this thread. We are arriving Nov. 14th - 20 staying @ POP. Looks like there are a couple others staying there the same time!! Do you want our dining arrangements also? I have a bunch

:welcome:

63 days :cool1::banana: Are you guys getting excited?? I know i sure am..cant wait

I sure am!! :woohoo:
If you are not used to working like that I bet you are tired. But think of it this way, that's more spending money for Disney!!!

On top of working everyday I have a dang cold now. After just 3 days into the week I could feel it coming on. School = germs. Guess I better get my flu shot this year.

But yes, the extra money for Disney and Christmas will be so nice!! :cool1:

I just have say: Only 50 days to go!!!!!! :cool1::banana::rotfl::woohoo::cloud9:

(Can you tell I am excited ;))

Me too!! :yay: 50 DAYS!!:cool1::woohoo::dance3:

Check out the Creative DISigns forum. There are some really talented designers there.

My son just tested postive for peanut, tree nut and egg allergies! So now I have some work to do for that! I called our airline and notified them and got the paperwork from Disney that I need to fill out. I am very nervous about taking a picky toddler with food allergies!

Oh that sounds like a nightmare, I wish you the best of luck, I can not even imagine having to deal allergies to those foods.

I'm here now & 10 weeks from today i'll be on my way there!! :yay:

Thanks for starting thread #2, loved #1 & am enjoying #2.

You poor thing! I've always read that DW is wonderful about dealing with food allergies.

I've always dreaded once we come home from our trips having to face cooking again. On our 8-10 day trips, I get pretty spoiled about not having to cook for 5. One is a teenage boy, so maybe I should rephrase that to read, "not having to cook for 10.":rotfl2:

QOTD: How about you all? Are you spoiled by not cooking when you come home?

Not cooking and not having to wash towels!! That is a nice bonus too! I do have to admit after a certain point on vacation I am glad to come home and have "regular" food and not all the goodies/junk I have there!! Oh not having to drive!! I hate driving so a Disney Vacation is great!!
