Ohh good point. I actually AM a paraplegic, and we will need to head to one of the accessible viewing areas. Last time I was in WDW was pre-spinal cord injury, so I had forgotten that I can't just view it from wherever like before. Thankfully it looks like there are some accessible viewing areas not far from Norway, so we'll just plan to head over there after our dinner.
My favorite accessible viewing area is just to the left of the Rose & Crown. When we were there in the summer of 09, we had my mother-in-law with us. She was in a scooter. We were delighted to discover this viewing area. We set my mother-in-law up in there, and then I played runner and went back and forth from the pub getting her her gin & tonic. It was nice that the whole family could sit there together. There was a cast member minding the chain that made the entrance. This cast member was a boat captain as they can't run the boats when they're doing the fireworks. We met some delightful people in this nice little section. There were several others, but my MIL liked this one because it was close to the pub.
