I think the decision to change is alittle easier since we are driving. I had thought about going the week before Thanksgiving, but that is the end of DD's grading period. More chance she would miss tests than the week after Thksgvng. Im hoping her teachers will give her some work before we go (insert evil laugh)Oh that's a tough one!!
I was faced with a similar situation when I found out that the week I booked our trip for, which has always been parent-teacher conferences and half days at our school, was not conference week after-all. They moved it to the following week.But like you, this will likely be the last time we take him out of school for vacation.
Good luck deciding!!(I do think it will be less crowded the week after Thanksgiving, verses the week of Thanksgiving. But even less the week before!)
and we really love Christmas time so I would love to be there when WDW is all decked out. I do think we will do MVMCP if we go the week after. We would be going to AK that morning and we will be leaving the next day, so we will be able to sleep in alittle before we head out. Do you know if rain cancels this event? Do you pre-purchace your tickets or wait until that night?Alexensmom~ in regards to MVMCP....that is going to totally depend on your schedule and your vacation budget! We have been twice in the past, then a couple of times we skipped it....we are going this year, but we haven't been in quite a while and we aren't doing any other big ticket things...like Hoop Dee Do or anything.... My kids absolutely love it...they talk about it every Christmas...they loved getting hot chocolate and gingerbread with the snow falling on Main Street....of course, it was freezing the last time so it was greatly appreciated!!!My advice is this: if you can afford it, & it fits into your schedule or you can make it fit...do it!!! Just make sure the day of the party you take it easy...and don't plan RD or a Character breakfast the morning after!!!! Also, if you can hang around for the 2nd parade time that's offered, you will see more....go ride stuff while the first parade is going....

) wife and she decided to head to NY to be with her mother and grandmother for the weekend she just needed to get away, so I did my shopping(forgot coffee)
, oh went out for breakfast with DH came home and napped, he went over to the cemetary I just couldn't go, maybe tomorrow 
I have since calmed myself down since it 'starts' the day after we leave. 
I used to be a hairstylist - so haircuts are no problem around here

That sure makes it rough. This is my lucky year - both mine are in the same building for one year!!

I got the blonde haired doll, she's dressed in little denim shorts with "Walt Disney World" on the pocket, matching blue denim shoes, a pink Mickey shirt, and a pink and black ear hat. The included accessories are a pink fanny-pack with WDW printed on it, a tiny princess autograph book, a lanyard with a Minnie pin on it. SO cute! I'm really excited to see her face when she opens it on her birthday. 
It's cute and I think it will be the perfect bag for the parks. 
So I really need to find that piece of paper and put everything into a folder before too much more time passes. I also just realized that I need to book a hotel room for Saturday 11/6, because we're flying down a day before we check into the BW.
