We could take the lime green mickeys head and add colored "feathers" to the back of it like a turkey...

Hey Ladies, I don't want to be the downer of the thread today, but you all are a great supportive bunch..... My grandma that I have mentioned earlier in the thread is critical. The is in congestive heart failure and end stage lung cancer. (She never smoked a day in her life!). The family was called in earlier this week to tell her goodbye. She has been in and out of conscience since Wed night. We have been told we only have a few days. Could you all say a prayer for her. That she goes quickly and that she doesn't suffer anymore. She is so ready to go "home". Thanks everyone!

Jessica

Yep, even sausage or hot dogs that are chicken or beef often still have a pork casing. Don't even think about cooking my breakfast on a griddle that had bacon sizzling away! Although, I think I'll take my running for the nearest bucket over your migraine

I have an easy solution here. Kosher food. If its kosher, it will not have any pork in it, near it, pork can't even have breathed on it. It can't be cooked on the same griddle. The kosher meal I had at the American Pavilion at EPCOT was not only pork free, it was delicious and not more expensive than the other stuff. To find kosher products look for the U inside a circle symbol that one is from the orthodox union. Other symbols include the K, the K inside a star, the K inside a triangle. Cabot cheese has a tiny 10 commandments icon on it. There are many more symbols. The Canadians have a whole host of symbols that are different from those used in the USA. If there is a tiny D next to the symbol, that means it is or contains a dairy product. The symbol on the kosher meal at the American Pavilion said GLATT which means it is kosher meat. If it doesn't say GLATT or have a D, then it is a non-dairy, non meat food. It must not contain even a trace of those. I hope that helps.... oh also.... at the Pop and at Ohana, we specially ordered turkey sausage or turkey bacon. I prefer the turkey sausage because the turkey bacon actually tastes like bacon yuck!!:scared1:

All these post talking about tickers going to one month soon, got me a bit nuts and I started looking over my schedule for the week decided to switch my last two days around , I had planned on going to MK for a half day on our last day but now decided would be better to do MK on Friday instead of Saturday so we don't have to worry about returning to the resort for ME pickup, we can go over to DAK on Saturday for a few hours or not depending on what the others want to do, I was still able to get a breakfast ressie for CP a bit later 9:20 but it will work will can still go to DTD in the late afternoon on Friday :confused3

Don't feel bad, I still don't have my plans completely nailed down! :faint: I don't know what is with me this time, I am usually all planned out months in advance. It is for the most part, but some days are still up in the air. My main problem is deciding if we should do one long day at MK or two half days. . .

Jessica- I am so sorry that you are going thru such a tough time. I did say a prayer for her, as you requested. I was just thinking about my grandpa today, we lost him last year. There is a very special bond between a grandparent and a grandchild. In many ways, they have molded who we are today. Keep looking to God for your strength, he will guide you through.

DH and I are doing the MVMCP but DS and Ddil are doing HDDR that night so we are planning on a half day at MK , I am just afraid we won't want to leave on the last day and might cut it too close getting back to catch ME, I know we won't have that problem with DAK, might just skip DAK this trip last time I stayed at AKL I spent my last couple of hours walking around the resort taking pics of the animals before ME came, so who knows, I am sure I will change my plans again before Nov, it is actually a good thing I already bought the tix for MVMCP or I would be switching more days around :rotfl:

would everyone think about coming up with some lil identifier type thing we could wear (like attached to our bags or belt loops) so if we see each other, we will be able to recognize our fellow November board members. QUOTE]

I'm in!! What do we need to do to make it happen?

My DD wants a Canon PowerShot for her birthday. I'm looking at the sd1400 is and the sd3500 is. Any thoughts? I want to keep it under $300.

I have an SX20-IS and a G11. The G11 is about $400 but the SX20 should be in your price range. Have you checked that one out? I love mine.

What do people make the lime green mickey out of? Card stock? Could be laminated. I have a cricut and would be happy to cut out and make some tags for people if we figure out how to do it. If there is a pic of one other people have used I could try and make a sample and post a pic.
