Question for my fellow Galloway-ers...
Have you ever hit an interval "wall"? I was steadily increasing my run portions, from :30 to :45 to 1:00 to 1:30, and it was going like clockwork. But I'm just plain STUCK around 1:30run/:30 or 1:00 walk now and ahve been for a while. I do have exercise-induced asthma, but so do lots of elite and amateur athletes; we all puff on our inhalers and get it done, so I don't
think it's that. My legs feel plenty strong and I have the will to go longer, but just can't seem to break through that wall consistently. On a good day, I can skip every third walk for about a mile and half out of 3, but that's the limit. Trying to do more leaves me dizzy and out of breath - not wheezing and my airways don't feel tight, just much too winded. It is, admittedly, HOT and HUMID here in FL, so maybe I just need to live with it until it cools off?
Anyone else go through this?
