Becky- congrats on becoming an Aunt! I your sister has a happy healthy pregnancy!

Look me up on facebook too if ya want! Meredith Leigh Adams Olski

DMickey - so funny that you found your friend through her mom. My friend found me because her mom asked her sister to "stalk" my sister on Facebook to find my mom's phone # b/c she had lost it. Then my friend saw that her sister found my sister, so she started looking for me! :goodvibes Now I just need to figure out how to look for other people I used to know. And I'll look for you later, but I can't do it on my laptop, b/c my work blocks the site.

Kreile - too funny on worrying about old cliques online! Luckily since I've only been on for a week, I haven't been approached by anyone I don't remember yet! I hope Caleb is feeling better soon!

Bethany - great deals at the sale! :thumbsup2 And love Owen's "aloha" sign! :rotfl:

Jenny - I'm starting to get addicted too, and it bugs me when I see an e-mail that I have a new message but I can't respond since the sight is blocked! I better keep it off my phone or I'll never do anything else!

Amber - I'm sure Spencer won't even notice the cakes don't quite match!

Happy Saturday night everyone else - I hope you're having more fun than I am watching Cars for the 1001st time!

***********************
We went to Target today and there were some great deals on toys, got lots of Cars stuff for Alex. My mom even found some cute crocs knock-offs on clearance that are shaped like Lightning McQueen - so cute! :woohoo:

And apparently Target is Alex's favorite store since Grandma always takes him there on Fridays. When I took him to the grocery store, he looked at the store and said, "No, not this store, Target!" Lucky for him mommy likes Target too, but sometimes we need food and the Super Target is kind of far away. :upsidedow

Hey all you facebook people, you can look me up, too...Bethany Lewis in San Jose, CA (might say Silicon Valley, CA). My photo is me with Owen in his crab hat.

There's too many Bethany Lewises in the world...my maiden name was much more distinctive.

Ok, I found a few of you on Facebook, if anyone wants to look for me I'm Sara Sierra (yes that's my real name ;) )

I keep losing this thread!

I just wanted to repost something from my blog...

I am getting so stressed with Rylan lately. Its like no matter what I do, he just doesn't listen, period. I broke down yesterday and bawled my eyes out.

I wonder if there is an opt out button on being a mom...

Today is one of those days where I feel like wrapping Rylan up all nice and pretty and trying to pawn him off on the least suspecting person. I just don't get it. He gets in trouble, over and over, for the same things. I mean I could understand if it was a completely different thing every day, but its not. He knows he is not allowed to play with my makeup. He got in trouble, yet again, last night for smearing a tube of lipstick (and ruining it) on the cushions of the glider/rocking chair. He wiped my bronzer all over himself and well as filled up my blush brush with bronzer too. I am sure there was something else, but I am not going to rack my brain.

Well, this morning I am getting stuff together to leave the house. I walk into the living room and he has gotten into my PURSE! Ruined another tube of lipstick. He got in trouble, again.

We get ready to leave to go pick up some birthday party supplies and I walk back into the living room to get him and go, and he runs over the couch and hides his head (this is toddler code for: I did something wrong and if I can't see you, you can't see me, therefore nullifying the offense). I look around to see what he did and...he has taken the bottle of chocolate syrup and decided it was a good idea to pour it in a cup (in the meantime getting himself covered in chocolate). And, of course this happens on a day when I need to do laundry and he was in his last pair of clean pants.

I am just so frustrated. He doesn't listen to anything I say. I can't get a break and I can't get away from him. I just want to bury my head in the pillow sometimes and bawl my eyes out (which I did do today). I can't even use the bathroom without him attempting to get into something, I can't get work done because he is going to get into something, and I sure as heck can't take a shower. I mean, do I lock him in his bedroom all day?? As I am typing this, he is attempting to get into something else. *sigh*

I'm sick and I'm tired. Where is his dad when I need him?

kgle - Sorry you're having a rough day! Toddlers are a handful!

Another facebook update, I did a search for myself and realized there are over 100 Sara Sierras (and a lot of them look like hoochies), so I changed my name to Sara Goeppner Sierra to make it easier to find.

kgle, :grouphug:

Pollito, congrats on the finds.

DMickey, sorry for the BFN.

Well, Spencer had a great time at his party. He was hesitant about the cake at first, but quickly warmed up to it. By the time he was finished, there was just a pile of crumbs and icing. I'll have to get some video uploaded so you can see him; it was quite comical.

He did great opening presents too.

Here are some pictures (the icing on his forehead is from someone who thought it wasn't a party unless he was covered in icing  )

Amber - Those pictures are great!! He looks like he really enjoyed the cake. I am trying to diet but I have two cake mixes in the pantry that are screaming my name. Might have to make one today!!

kgle - Kara right? I am sorry you are going through this with Rylan. I have no idea what it is like to do it alone 24/7 but my DH works LONG hours and often I feel like I am alone. What do you do for punishment? I know he's a little older than Alexander but do you have a pack n play you can dump him in when you need a break or to take a shower? That is what I do with Alexander (who is the size of a 3.5 year old!!) and it works. He doesn't like it to begin with but he settles down pretty fast. I also baby gate off the kitchen because he'd be pulling out the chocolate syrup. I never prohibited him from areas or used the pack n play until fairly recently when I realized that he needed boundaries because otherwise he has no clue what's ok and what's not. It seems like punishment or mean to us but for them it's what they need. I also have a knobby thing on our door so that he can't get in our bathroom unless I want him to ... I have to changed it up with other types every so often because he figures them out but so far, it's worked. HUG ... We used to live in Indy and if we were still there I'd offer to take him sometime when you just need an hour to yourself!!

Hi ladies!! Hope everyone had a great weekend! :goodvibes I found many of you on Facebook and friended-you! Can't wait to see you over there too!!

Amber - OMG those pics are TOO CUTE! the banner that you had made...it came out GREAT! And the cake looked awesome too!! What was Spencer wearing while eating his cake? It was the perfect cake-eating apparal!

Kara - Sounds like Rylan is really pushing the limits lately, huh? I would echo a lot of what DMickey already posted. Maybe really use gates and other means of securing no-no areas, or put away things that you *know* will equal trouble if found. Obviously easier said than done, right? ;) I hope you have had a better day today. You can always come here and vent!!

DMickey - So sorry about your BFN. :grouphug: What is NPC? Oh - and those rib-eyes sound tasty and delish! Hope they came out good!!

To anyone I missed....:wave2:

well...Caleb is cutting a tooth!! Just a little tiny sliver but it is there. So far it does not really seem to be bothering him.

Amber what is Spencer wearing?? He looks to cute digging into his cake!!

Kara---sorry i have no suggestions, but:grouphug:

I think Caleb is feeling better.

I am Kara Arter on facebook. Should say Upper Sandusky, Ohio cause there is a Kara Arter in california I found out.

k_reile, congrats on the new tooth! I think Spencer is getting his molars.

He is wearing a smock made by Crayola. I found it in the crayon aisle and was about $5. I thought it would be great (it worked great). Now, he has something to wear when painting and such.

We got the banner from Oriental Tading Company. We also got his dinosaur candle, plates, and napkins from there.

We went to T-Rex today in DTD. Spencer thought it was great. We liked it better than Rainforest Cafe.

Hope everyone had a good weekend!

Kara, sorry Rylan has been giving you trouble lately. DMickey's suggestions sound good to me, too. Hang in there...

Amber, I love the pictures from Spencer's party! The cakes and banner look so cute. The smock is a great idea. I wish I'd thought of that for Owen's first birthday.

DMickey, sorry about your BFN.

Tomorrow is Owen's first haircut, and there's a woman coming here to do it. She has a small business coming to your house to do kids haircuts, and she doesn't charge any more than most of the local salons. She also does cuts at a couple of the baby boutiques in the area, but I figure it's easier to have her come here for Owen's first haircut and I'll deal with the clean up myself, but Owen will be in a familiar place in case he freaks. DMIL is coming to watch and help with taking pictures. My baby isn't going to look like a baby anymore!

Oh, and I changed my name on facebook, too, to make it easier to find me in the sea of Bethany Lewises. I'm now Bethany Isenhart Lewis (pending facebook approval).

Bethany - Can't wait to see Owen's pictures!!

Amber - I didn't realize that you were THAT close to WDW. We should have gotten the kids together last week when I was up there!! I thought about going to T-rex or Rainforest with DS last MOnday but I was alone with him and afraid he'd be a handful. We went to Red Lobster and he was awesome!!

Becky - I forgot to say congrats on becoming an Auntie. That's awesome ... H&H 9 months to your sister. I have to say I am a bit jealous ... today is my jealousy day!!

****
DH's cousing had her baby girl yesterday on her due date. I am slightly jealous but it's all good. She is a cutie .... Sage is her name. She is the first girl in the family in over 20 years!! All the other cousins have had boys, including us.

Well DS just figured out how to get out of his booster seat by himself because he is now at my side when he was sitting eating breakfast two seconds ago. Great!!

Aww Bethany....that is exciting..a first haircut! Maybe one day my baldies will need a haircut..... :goodvibes

Ahh...so cool to see your baby's 1st haircut. I am hoping Caleb can wait until he is 16 mos so he can have his 1st one at Disney. But I guess if not it will be his 1st time that is cut in Disney.:lmao:

Hi ladies. I'm not sure where the weekend went but I'm just now getting on since Friday. LOL It was so nice here that I guess all of the outside playing took all my time. Noah had a blast and was following all of the older kids all around.

I wrote down everyones names for facebook and will try to find you all when I get home. I have it on my phone but I can't seem to find out how to search for people on it. Feel free to look for me Jennifer Holzmeyer Louthan. I too added my maiden name in a couple weeks ago when people were having trouble finding me. I was amazed how many more friend invites I got once I did that.

Bethany, I hope Owen does well getting his haircut. Spencer is still pretty bald, although the back is getting longer. It almost looks like a tiny little mullet!

DMickey, I live about an hour and half from WDW (depending on traffic; it can be less). Congrats to your DH's cousin. I would love to have a little girl.

DMickey, congrats on the new baby girl in the family! Sage is a pretty name. It's my nephew's middle name, and my sister was thinking about it for her DD's first name.

And too funny on getting out of the booster seat...love those new skills! ;)

Ahh...so cool to see your baby's 1st haircut. I am hoping Caleb can wait until he is 16 mos so he can have his 1st one at Disney. But I guess if not it will be his 1st time that is cut in Disney.:lmao:

I was bummed that Disneyland doesn't have a barbershop like at WDW. If they did, Owen would have had his first haircut there. Oh well. This way his Nonna will get to be here for it. DH has been insisting for weeks that he doesn't need to be around for Owen's first haircut, but lo and behold, he's decided to work from home today! He says he doesn't have any meetings today, but he did tell a few people last week that he'd talk to them this afternoon. We'll see if he is able to stay home until after Owen's haircut. He still insists that he's not rescheduling any work things to be here, but I've noticed that he has said that two of the people he wanted to meet with this afternoon have said they can talk tomorrow morning instead. :rolleyes1 I think Daddy wants to see the haircut, too! :)

Oh, and I just got more photos from Disneyland posted on Facebook. Owen looks so serious, the nut! You'd swear he didn't have fun at all just looking at most of the pictures.
