It is 2:07 am.I have to work tomorrow. And my kid has been up and SCREAMING BLOODY MURDER for, oh, 2 hours. I'm so tired, agitated, and crabby that I'm considering running away. (Ok, fantasizing, really- in my fantasy I leave the house and go to a hotel and SLEEP.)
Sorry you had such a rough night, is she doing any better today? Did she take a nap ok?
Brady is on his way to get tubes...just like his big brother.
Not only does he have his 3rd double ear infection in 3 months, he has hand/foot/mouth.
Sorry I don't have any recommendations, but I hope Brady is feeling better soon! That must be tough on both of you.
We are back from the allergist. They did a skin test for milk, egg, peanut, soy and wheat. The doctor will have to get the official results but he did have a reaction to the milk so we are on to step two which will be a more extensive blood workup.
I hope they are able to figure everything out with the allergies. Better to do it now than after he has a bad reaction!

to you ladies having rough nights! Becky - I am the same way with Brady. He is such a great, great sleeper that the nights that he happens to get up in the middle of the night crying freak me out because I think something is really wrong with him.
Hard to believe a year ago I was huge, swollen, and miserable.
God....this first year has absolutely FLOWN by. I have learned so much and feel like my life has changed so much since Brady was born. I couldn't be in a happier place - hard to believe I have a 1 year old little guy!!
just booked a 5 night trip to Atlanta for work in mid September-----i am going to go crazy, missing my little guy. Poor Dh has to fend for himself for 5 nights, 4 days. i always come back more appreciated though.
: Of course she did! Little stinker. I was dead on my feet yesterday, so last night I went to bed at 9pm. I just could not stay awake. But, no issues last night.
Since she doesn't have a bumper (I don't even remember when we took it off), I put the stuffed animals in the corners to protect her noggin. And she sleeps with the ugliest blankie we own. It was a "gift" from DH's great-uncle. It's like a bright red southwestern print. He got it for donating money to some Catholic Charity for Native Americans and sent it to us as a present!

) - mostly family and a few close friends which ended up being around 50 people!
So, we decided to get it catered because it would just be easier on DH and I instead of us running around all day cooking, etc... I'll make sure to take pics of everything. I made chocolate candies (seashells and boats) and put them in little baggies for "favors"...ordered balloons and his cake yesterday. Still so much to do....yikes...not to mention clean the whole house!! It should be a fun day, though!
Sometimes I wish I could just be one of those calm, laid-back moms...but...alas...I am not.

We have the best babies, don't we??
I hope your dad is okay. He (and you!) will be in my thoughts and prayers.
We really need to figure out a way to get a date night sometime this weekend. Hopefully I can find a babysitter.
He's just starting to realize that he can grab stuff and try and pull himself up (not that he can pull himself up yet, but he's getting close), and that cart will go right over the minute he starts to pull up on it.
