Jen...that is so cute what Christopher is doing!! And such a good skill too! One of the first things I look for in early intervention assessment is if the child puts things in/out of a container. I know it sounds silly...but is an important play skill.
Nothing much new in Brady world. I had a mini freak-out over the weekend.

A friend of mine took her baby for his normal check-up, and the ped wanted to do an MRI b/c he has a butt dimple and a birthmark on his lower back over his spine. Well, turns out he has Spina Bifida!

Brady also has a small butt dimple (as do I!) and a light birthmark right above it on his lower back, so I totally freaked out.

I have calmed down now, as my friends child's butt dimple was very deep (almost couldn't see the bottom) and his birthmark had been getting bigger and darker. Brady's dimple is very small, and his birthmark has been losing pigment every since he was born. I can barely notice it now. But, I am a worrier anyway - so of course all weekend I googled everything I could about spina bifida.

I really need to stay off the internet!! I plan on bringing it up at my next pedi appointment....but for now....am fine. He appears to be a healthy little boy, and my pedi has already seen his birthmark and said it was fine. So...no more worrying about it for now.

I will keep you posted, though, after his next appointment.
And for fun news....Brady is now rolling over both ways, sitting up for 1.2 seconds on his own, and screaching and laughing a lot!
