Bethany- I had never heard of an Usborne party until you mentioned it. Is it like a Pampered Chef party for kid's books? I'd be in trouble. Sounds cool, though. Is it more expensive than just buying from a bookstore?
And that is awful about your mom. I don't blame you for being super cautious, and thank you for warning us, too.
DMickey- What a tough day for the kiddos, huh? Vaylie is fine- just a bump. I was SOOO lucky she fell in a way that minimized damage.
How's Alexander today?
Pollito- I had MRSA after Vaylie was born. It was tough to get rid of. The thing that finally worked was antibiotic cream that I had to rub into my nostrils (staph lives in your nose). That, plus the orals and other creams finally worked and I never had another spot.

Well, I cried so much yesterday that I ended up waking up with a massive headache and swollen eyelids at 5am. So, I took a bunch of medicine and went back to sleep.
I feel better today (I'm still so angry at myself for letting it happen, but lesson learned). And Vaylie is just fine. Actually, she was fine as soon as she got her cookie yesterday (DH was in line for them when I took her into the bathroom). She was dancing all over. While Mommy was still recovering from a mini-heart attack.
But, after that I went into the Sephora store. The good? It made me feel better. The bad? It cost $127.
I needed new foundation, though, and I don't have good skin (very oily and acne prone). So, I decided to buy a new skin-care regimen from Murad to try. And some new foundation. And foundation primer. And some lipgloss (it's from Bare Escentuals and it's called Buxom Lips- it's awesome). So, $127 later, I felt a little better- at least a little prettier. I really hope the Murad stuff works.
Today, I need to go to Wal-Mart.
I get sick of Wal-Mart, but since we live in the sticks, it's the only thing close by, and I need to get groceries. I have to drive 30 minutes for a Target, and about 45 minutes to get to a mall. And I just hate to spend the gas money if it isn't necessary, kwim?

As one of my best friends said, there's always a chance that I'll get another one next year and it will give me more time to save up for a room upgrade. sigh. I even checked airfare, and found round trip tickets at just $250/ea with just one stop, which is really amazing for going from San Jose to Orlando. double sigh.
I want to go so badly, but it just isn't in the cards this year.
....@%&$ dial up!!!!

I think the days of eating off mommy's plate are over....
i've thought of ordering Will a kid's meal, but haven't done it yet, that boy can eat though.
I did start school on Aug 21st and things are going REALLY well right now. Only taking one class, but I'm having a blast and looking forward to getting some of my pell grant back later this month and the $145 I paid before the grant came through. Looking forward to that REALLY soon!
The police caught one man, but the other 3 people in the car got away and they are still looking for them.
That is AMAZING!! And you'll be in WDW the same time as my SIL, BIL and nephew!!! If you see a white/grey peg perego stroller with an adorable chubby-cheeked blond toddler named Landon- that's him!
I'm turning green.
Maybe they won't be picky like my girl. She never used to be picky. Just since she could start eating on her own.
Eh.
