Well, my headache is finally gone, and Owen's chucks are getting better, although he's still not napping well. Oh, and he discovered that he can pull himself to a stand in his crib today! I went to get him up from his afternoon nap and discovered Owen standing up (a little wobbly still), clinging to the top rail of his crib and looking both proud and surprised by his accomplishment! :)

Isn't that so cute. I love when they look all proud of themselves. Before you know it he will be trying to climb out! :scared1:

Hope all the mommies have a great day. Unfortunately, in my sleep deprived state, I didn't realize that my older boys have a doc. appt. this afternoon. That kinda puts a cramp in my napping plans!

Good Morning!

Spencer decided that 6am would be a good time to wake up :sad2: , so here we are.

Here are a couple of pictures:

Bethany, glad to hear you both are feeling better and YEA!!! to Owen for pulling himself up!

Amber - Don't you hate it when they decide to get up that early. Drives me nuts and really puts a damper on my mood for the day. Alexander was doing that a lot last week after being sick. We have since moved his bedtime back to 8pm and are trying to regulate our naps again. He is still getting up at barely 7am. Yesterday he didn't nap until 4pm. :rolleyes:

Well- today is V's first day at the babysitter's. And I'm so nervous and upset.

In my head, I know she'll be fine and probably have fun with the other little kids. There is a little girl there about 5 months older than V, and her mom came into the bank the other day. I told the mom that I met her DD and that V was going to go to Babysitter Lady too. She was like, "I love her, she has been watching my kids since they were 6 weeks and 3 months old, she's the best" etc. Which made me feel much better. Babysitter Lady doesn't charge too much, and this Mom could definitely afford to go elsewhere if she wanted (trust me), but she likes her so much.

I think it's just me. No one outside of our family has ever watched V before. :( But, it's only one day a week generally. I'm trying to figure out a plan so that my mom can watch her too some days...

So, wish me luck. Or peace. Or a stiff drink and some nerve pills. :laughing: I'll update when I get home.

Kelly- poor little Brady, hope his little face isn't too scratched up.

Bethany, hope Owen is feeling better today.

Pollito- what a little gentleman you have there!!! :goodvibes

Amber- adorable pics of Spencer!!!

Becky- hugs to you today- hang in there- she will do just great today! and to hear the other mom say those great things means a lot.

Well poor Will is teething again. he still only has 2 teeth at 11months. so another one is coming in, but i don't know where. his appetite is gone, he is drooling like crazy and has been a mad man the last two nights- just crying his heart out. i tried everything and nothing helps. He is such a happy baby normally, so it is so frustrating for us to hear him cry like that and nothing comforts him. I went to pilates last night and DH had to put him to bed screaming. He finally passed out after 15 minutes. He is having pictures at day care today, so i hope he cooperates!

Well, I am home for lunch and I called to check on Vaylie- Babysitter Lady said she's doing good- no crying, she's playing with the other kids. She ate a good breakfast.

I still can't wait to get off work to go get her.

I'm having a hard time with my anxiety lately. It's been a lot of change- switching jobs, taking V to someone new. It's been harder on me than I thought it would. I miss the people I worked with. I mean- the perks ARE considerable- I haven't had to put gas in my car for over 2 weeks! ANd I like getting off work earlier and seeing Vaylie. Being able to come home for lunch is nice, too. But, I feel kind of isolated.

I think it's just going to take more time. I feel like that Joni Mitchell song- "I wish I had a river I could skate away on..."

Or, a huge inheritance that would allow me to stay home and figure out what I want to do. ;)

Thanks for all the well-wishes for Brady. His face is healing fine...just a few scabs under his nose.

Michelle - We had Brady's birthday party catered...we figured it would be the easiest thing, and it was. I am glad we did it! So cute about Will's first haircut!! And the photograher sounds like a great idea...I always spend about $100 (or more! :rolleyes: ) when I go to the Picture People. They suck me right in when they bring them out all framed and blown-up!!

Bethany - Glad to hear Owen is feeling better. Too cute that he can stand-up in his crib now! I know when Brady started doing this he would stand-up and then get this "oh s***" look on his face like "how do I get down?".

Amber - Happy 7 months to Spencer!! Those pics are too freakin cute!!! :goodvibes

Pollito - Too cute about Alex's little girlfriend!! He is already such a gentleman!!

Becky - Sorry to hear about your anxiety...I also have really bad anxiety and I have noticed that it will come in waves throughout the year. I am sure with all the "newness" in your life right now, that is why it is spiking. Big (((hugs))) to you...keep us posted. :hug:

Becky- thought about you last night and hope V's first day with the new sitter went well! can't wait to hear an update!

oh and for anyone that applied to the 'moms panel', they sent out the first round of acceptance emails to go to round 2. i didn't get one, but who knows if they sent them out all at once or in waves (like last year). The initial ones went out on Tuesday apparently.

Hi Guys!

DisneyGirl -- Love the new pix of Spencer - so cute!

Kelly -- hope Brady is doing better after his fall - poor little guy.

Bec - how did Day 1 at the sitter go?

Michelle - are you getting super psyched for Will's 1st Birthday!! How is the new job going?

Bethany -- hope Owen is feeling better!

Pollito -- that is the cutest story EVER about Alex and his little girlfriend. OMG - so cute and what a good little guy you are raising - very sweet and polite!!

Mickey Fliers -- hope you and Lila are doing well.

Hi DMickey and Meredith!!

Hi to anyone I forgot to mention!!

********************

So -- 2 big pieces of news for me

1: Izzy is saying Mama -- she is clearly saying it and she knows she is talking about me when she says it. When I leave the room she will look for me and call it out and in the morning when I go down to get her she greets me with Mama Mama Mama -- my heart is melting!!! And I know she knows its me because she NEVER calls DH mama or even says the word around him!! Yay -- she is talking and calling my name -- I could cry!!

2: I took her to the Pediatric Dentist today to have the tooth checked out. The good news is its nothing major or catastrophic. But, it is incredibly rare -- its a malformed tooth. The black is caused by a lack of calicification. The bottom line is he said that only about 1/2 the tooth has grown down from the gum so far and in about 2-4 months the rest of the tooth will grow down. We have to wait for the rest of the tooth to grow down so he can see whether this is just a small missing chip at the bottom or whether the whole left side of the tooth is missing.

If its just a small missing chip - no problem - he will bond the chip and she will be good as new. If the whole tooth is malformed - because the chip would go straight up to the gum line - and it runs close to the nerve - she would need the tooth pulled. So - for now we wait and see!

Good news is though its not life threatening - it may be just a small chip fixed by bonding and its nothing we did that caused the issue. He said the teeth start forming at about 6 weeks old in the womb and for whatever reason - this one tooth on her lacked calcium and developed abnormally. The rest of her teeth are 100% fine though. He said it is not bottle rot!! And it was not caused by antibiotics or IVF. So that is great.

Have a good day ladies.

-Nicole

Nicole - I am glad you got some answers about the tooth. I hope they can just cap it and you guys can be on your way in the future!!

My little guy is just so out of sorts. I don't know what's going on. I think he is teething his four 2 year molars. He is sucking down ice cubes, sticking his fists in his mouth and digging out his teethers for me to put in the freezer again. He is getting picky with his eating and not sleeping normally. He was up talking at 6am this morning and we have pushed his bedtime back to 8pm hoping he would start sleeping to 7am again but NO!! He is napping ok a few days a week but sometimes he misses it all together because he's too tired!! Maybe I should go back to giving him Motrin before bed again for the teeth ... I don't know.

I went to get him up from his afternoon nap and discovered Owen standing up (a little wobbly still), clinging to the top rail of his crib and looking both proud and surprised by his accomplishment! :)

I love that look! :lovestruc

Well poor Will is teething again. he still only has 2 teeth at 11months. i tried everything and nothing helps. He is such a happy baby normally, so it is so frustrating for us to hear him cry like that and nothing comforts him.

Poor Will, hopefully that tooth breaks soon! Alex was the same way with teething and it is so hard to deal with, especially with a normally happy baby that you haven't had to spend too much time soothing before.

Well, I am home for lunch and I called to check on Vaylie- Babysitter Lady said she's doing good- no crying, she's playing with the other kids. She ate a good breakfast.

I'm having a hard time with my anxiety lately. It's been a lot of change- switching jobs, taking V to someone new. It's been harder on me than I thought it would.

Or, a huge inheritance that would allow me to stay home and figure out what I want to do. ;)

How was the rest of Vaylie's day? I'm sure she had tons of fun with the other kids, and it must have been reassuring to hear from the other mother that uses the same sitter.

My anxiety is way up right now too. Our house is almost done, and closing is on 10/20, and I am so excited, but also so nervous about making the mortgage payments and everything else again. And since it's a new house, we have to buy a refrigerator, washer & dryer, blinds, landscaping, paint, etc, etc...

And we just got a totally new benefits package at work with way higher health insurance costs (and less coverage), and now we have to contribute to our own 401k, and fewer raises, so I will probably be looking at a net decrease in my take-home pay in 2009 but with more expenses from the new house. :sad2: Now I'm even starting to question whether we should take the trip to Disney in December since we haven't made the final payments on it yet, but I REALLY want to go and think we need this vacation since we haven't had one in over a year, or been to disney in over 3 years.

All these financial troubles have my stomach in knots for over a week now. I would love to see a huge inheritance, but unfortunately I know my entire family is poor. :sad2:

Izzy is saying Mama -- she is clearly saying it and she knows she is talking about me when she says it.

The bottom line is he said that only about 1/2 the tooth has grown down from the gum so far and in about 2-4 months the rest of the tooth will grow down.

Yay on Izzy saying Mama! That's so great! And you must be so relieved to finally have an answer on her tooth, I'm glad it's nothing too serious.

My little guy is just so out of sorts. I don't know what's going on. I think he is teething his four 2 year molars.

I hope Alexander is feeling better soon and it's just new teeth!

Pollito- yeah on the new house- how exciting is that!! you will have to post pics of it! it's always fun to start new, although i know the expenses are scary. i say keep your trip if financially possible. the economy is going to be bad for a while, it will take a while for us to get out of this, it isn't an overnight solution. So might as well go when you can, because who knows when you will get to go again with a new house and all, right? I just hate to see you cancel, but i know in today's world, it is just so scary financially.

Nicole- good news on the tooth, at least you know what it is. and so sweet- mama!!! Will says dada, but he says it to DH and to the dogs. he doesn't call me dada though- he uses it for the dogs and DH. i think he hears me say 'doggie' and is trying to say that. But he does know DH- this morning DH said when he went in his room to get him ready that Will was saying Dada, dada! He hasn't even given me a hint of saying mama yet. He has said ball though.

new job is good. Very busy though. I have a lot i am juggling between 3 new websites I am writing copy for, workshops, tradeshows, new CD, new videos and tons of other stuff. But I like the variety of projects and staying busy. The day flies by, which is good. And what was a surprise is that I didn't expect to get paid until 10/15 (next week) for my first paycheck, but they actually paid me on 9/30! i started on 9/22. Usually it takes a while- you know your checks are like delayed a week- that is how it has been for me. if i start a job on 10/1- i don't get paid for the 10/1-10/15 period until like 10/22 or something. But they paid me that week, so that was nice and unexpected $! I already asked off for my podcast cruise in May too!

DMickey- i hope your little guy gets over the teething soon- i hear hte molars are hard on them. it sounds just like Will- his behavior totally changes, eating, sleeping etc.

okay, gotta get back to work!!! busy busy busy! :rotfl:

Michelle - Yes! I applied for the Mickey Moms Club. No email for me, though. :rolleyes: Hopefully they will still send-out those cute folders like they did last year!

Nicole - YAY for Izzy saying Mama!!! :yay: Isn't it such a great feeling?!?! :goodvibes And the whole tooth thing sounds not too bad at all. Glad to hear they were able to figure it out - you'll have to keep us posted as it grows-in.

DMickey - I hope Alexander is feeling more himself soon....teething is so miserable!! Amazing how it can change every aspect of our little one's schedule!

Pollito - Your new house sounds so exciting!! We definitely want to see pics once you move-in! I agree with Michelle with keeping your trip unless it's absolutely necessary to cancel. You may need a vaca after all the stress of the house! Are there things you can do to your trip to make it less expensive (switch resorts, maybe not do the meal plan, etc..) I always tell DH that I would do anything as long as we could go....maybe even stay in a tent at Fort Wilderness :rotfl: (well, maybe not that drastic...but ya know what I mean! ;) )

**************************************************

We have a busy weekend coming up - Saturday I am meeting a group of mommies that I have chatted with since I first got pregnant with Brady - we all met on Fertility/Pregnancy Friend, then moved over to our own boards. We are meeting at the Boston Children's Museum, so that should be fun! Then on Saturday night we are going to my best friend's house in Boston (since we will be in the city during the day) to watch the Red Sox kick Tampa Bay's a**!! :woohoo: Sunday there is a pumpkin festival in a local town that we are going to with my girlfriend and her family, and then Monday is DH and I's 7th anniversary! We have dinner plans at a really nice place that night - any meal just the 2 of us is exciting, so this should be great!! :)

What are you ladies up to this weekend?

Kelly - sounds like a fun weekend! I'm fairly sure I'll get to watch the game. My FIL is a die hard fan, and we're going up to camp with him. So it will involve a generator and an odd satelite hookup, but we'll do it!

Pollito - I think it's always natural to feel anxious before closing (or anything that's a huge deal in life). I'm still nervous about the mortgage payments, and we've been here 3 years now :)

Becky - how's V doing with the babysitter?

Nicole - I've never heard of that happening with a tooth :confused3 As long as the dentist says it's good... And congrats on Mama! I'm still waiting.......

DMickey - doesn't teething stink? It doesn't usually bother Christopher too bad, but between 4 teeth at once and allergies, he's fairly unhappy with the whole thing right now.

Disney Girl - you get the best pics of Spencer! He's so cute!

I finally got an appointment for Christopher with early intervention. Of course, as soon as I started calling, he started running all over the house. Kind of like "I was just seeing how much you'd worry. Gotcha!" But he still isn't speaking, so I'm really looking forward to them evaluating him.

We're heading out to camp for the weekend. I haven't even started packing, so it should be a late night. At least my FIL doesn't have to run the woodstove anymore - I'd be paranoid all weekend that Christopher would be grabbing it. He installed an outside wood boiler last fall, and it is working great! So DH and FIL will be cutting trees all weekend so the power company can run lines down there. They've had this camp for 20 years with no power, and now some people further down the road from them decided they want power. Kind of spoils the effect, but it will be nice to turn on a light at night rather than digging for a flashlight!

Happy Anniversary!! Sounds like a fun weekend!! Let us know how you like the Boston Children's Museum. We were thinking of taking Abby there sometime soon. We have a busy weekend too.....my b-day is Sunday and DH got us theater tix for tomorrow night and got my sister to babysit. I think we will do dinner somewhere first. We're meeting up with my college friends and their families on Sat. I would also like to go to a farm or pumpkin patch to take nice Fall pics of Abby. We'll be watching lots of baseball too, but it will have to be a house divided here.....we're normally die hard Red Sox fans but my cousin pitches for Tampa Bay so I have to root for them.....DH says he is still pulling for the Sox....should make things interesting!

Have a great weekend ladies!

Hi ladies!

Well, Owen is definitely over the chucking, but now it looks like he's getting his top 2 teeth. I can see them much more clearly under his gums, his gums are swollen, he's drooling like a maniac, and he's fussing and crying more when he bites on food (like his ever-present cheerios). I'm hopeing those teeth break through soon...if it goes the same as when he got his bottom teeth, he'll be a pill right up until they finally pop through, and then he's fine.

Okay, now a vent: Yesterday was insane - the kids I take care of were here until 6:15pm!!!! They were supposed to be picked up at 4:30, but dad had car trouble, and the parents decided to just leave the kids at my house until mom got off work, but they didn't tell me that was the plan! :headache: I just got a call at 4:30 saying dad's car wouldn't start, but they were going to get here ASAP to get the kids. Then nothing...not a call...no one coming...not answering cell phones...nothing!!!! DH was really angry, and it threw off our entire evening. We usually eat dinner at 5:30 (DH is diabetic so we need to keep consistant meal times), and then go for a walk for family exercise until dusk. By the time the kids were picked up, everyone was hungry, crabby, and tired. This is not the first time they've been really late getting the kids, so I've had to start charging overtime.

I cannot wait until the election is over, so my guy can win and I can stop watching CNN. popcorn::

:laughing:

Anyway- busy, busy here.

Update on Vaylie at the sitter's: she did just fine. Babysitter Lady said she was perfect, she took a nap with no fussing, ate a really good lunch with 2 servings of "fwoot" (fruit- peaches). :rotfl: WHen I got there to pick her up she was standing at their bay window and she started screaming, "Mommy!!!!" :lovestruc She seemed really happy but was ready to go! (To be fair, though, as soon as we pick her up from anywhere- she's like, "BYE!! BYE!!" - she's ready to go home with mommy or daddy).

All in all, I feel a little better. Babysitter Lady said she played with the other kids well. Still, I'm giving it a trial period.

Since there is a Goddard School opening close to where DH works and goes to school, I got some info on it. It sounds perfect- exactly the kind of thing I am looking for. I'm supposed to be notified when they start enrolling, and the website says that you can do as few as 2 days or as many as 5, half or full days. I want to know the magic $$ numbers, though. We'll see.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Pollito- I hear you about the money crunch. Things are so shaky right now. We're planning a trip for next Sept., and I am even rethinking that plan. I don't know. We aren't booking until March, so it's a wait and see sort of thing.
Kelly- Happy Anniversary! Ours is on Thursday (the 16th). BIL and SIL offered to keep Vaylie overnight next weekend so we can go out! I'm excited. Plus, BIL and SIL will have a blast with V and Dnephew- 2 under 2. They are so close together it's kind of like having twins.
DMickey- don't you wish this teething thing was just over already?
Jen- that's great that you got the EI appointment. My nephew has been doing developmental and speech therapy for 6 months, and he's progressed by leaps and bounds! :yay: It's so exciting.
Nicole- that is strange about that tooth! Hopefully you just need the bond! And isn't it the sweetest thing when they say "Mama"? :cloud9: Just wait til she starts shrieking, "Mommymommymommymommymommy!" :lmao: (it's still cute, even though sometimes I'm just like, "WHHAAAAAAT?" :laughing: )
OT- when we were little (me, my sis and my bro)- sometimes my mom would get sick of us saying, "Mom? Mom. Mom. Mom? Mom? Mom. Mom." So, she'd be like, "Sorry- I changed my name." Us: "To what?" Her: "I'm not telling." Us: "Can you do that? What are we supposed to do? How can you do this to us?" :lmao: Now that I'm a mom, I see that all from a whole new perspective. And I only have one kid. Who can't even form sentences yet. Unless you count, "Mommymommymommymommymommy!"
This weekend- I think we're going to a circus and doing some preliminary car shopping! I have a long weekend from work, and I am sooooo ready for it.
Hi to anyone I missed- I am beat. We're having a potluck tomorrow and I made homemade chicken and noodles, and I have to finish the taco dip. Yum!
Becky, how did it go with Vaylie with the new daycare lady? I hope it went well and Vaylie had a good time! ....okay, edited: I see you posted as I was composing my epic! :)
Nicole, I'm glad you got some answers about the tooth! That sounds like what my dnephew had with his teeth, and all his permanent teeth came in just fine. There were some problems with his baby teeth, but everything was fixable and not at all life threatening! :goodvibes And how fun that Izzy is saying mama!!! Owen occasionally says it when he's screaming for me after I've left the room, but I'm still waiting to hear it when he's happy! :rotfl:
Kelly, happy anniversary! That sounds like a fun weekend! DH's b-day is Sat, so he gets to pick what we do all day. So far it sounds like his choice is to go to the harvest festival at the children's museum's discovery meadow during the day, and for dinner we're dropping Owen off at DMIL's and then going out to DH's favorite Afghani restaurant.
Polito, congrats on the new house, even in the midst of the anxiety! I know there's a million things to stress about, but I hope you have fun with the new house anyway!
Jen, your weekend sounds like fun! I love camping - grew up going almost every weekend we could in the spring, summer and fall. Sometimes in a tent, sometimes a cabin, sometimes a pop-up camper...always fun! And I hope the early intervention appt. gives you some helpful info with Christopher.
And hi to everyone else!! I love reading everyone's news...
~~~~~
So I just got an email from one of my closest friends, and she and her DH are plotting another trip to DLR and they want me to come with them!!!!!!!!!! I got them hooked when I helped them plan their last trip! :rotfl: They're both native CA, but they'd never done a well-planned trip to DLR. Heck, neither have I, but I read all about it all the time! :laughing: So I helped them plan, gave them links to find more info, got the right guide books into their hands, and went over the best tips for doing Disney with a preschooler. They had such a good time that now they want to go back ASAP, and they decided they need to take me and Owen with them this time! :cool1:

SO! Now I have to persuade DH to either join us or let us go without him. The bummer is that the dates they are thinking of going (Feb 21-25) is right before our 5th anniversary (Feb 28). DH and I have been talking about going away to a B&B for the weekend and leaving Owen with DMIL...but that would be the weekend after the Disney trip. DH also has less vacation time now than he used to since he was just "officially" hired at the company (instead of being a contractor there), so I don't know that he'll want to use his vacation time for a trip to DLR. (Grumpy boy doesn't like Disney trips :sad2: .) Plus I'm not sure I have enough in my Disney-fund to cover the trip without help from DH, so he definitely needs to agree to the trip.

But there will be several of us working on him, because our friends are very persuasive and they really want us to join them! :goodvibes I think if they can get their dd to ask DH to come, he'd melt in a minute and say yes...so we're all coaching her on how to ask him without prompting! :lmao:

KELLY and BECKY- happy anniv!!! :wizard:

KELLy- sounds like a great weekend ahead- and how cool to meet up wtih the ladies you bonded with online when TTC. I still keep in touch by email with quite a few. Sadly, there is one in particular, also named Michelle who has never had success in conceiving. She even sent Will a package with little halloween socks, hats and stuff when he was born. He wore them at the hopsital (he was born 10/30, so we were in the hospital last halloween). It was so sweet and i hate seeing her still struggle. have a great time at the pumpkin thing too- you know we need pics!!!!! ;)

BECKY- glad V's first day went well! i knew it would.

JEN- have a great weekend camping!!

KPM- happy early bday- have a great one!pixiedust:

BETHANY- ugh on the parents being so late. how hard is it to call? that really blows that they ruined your whole evening. i would charge extra too! a DLR trip sounds great, hopefully you can convince DH! Last time i was at DLR was in 8th grade i think! 1988! I should try and go back sometime, we just always end up at WDW instead.

we have a busy weekend- swim class at 9:30, then i am taking Will for his first haircut at some point......and then we have family pics at 2:45. between all 3, i am sure Will is going to be tired and grouchy. He is still not himself- all fussy and hurting. I can't even see where the tooth/teeth are. but i wish they would come in already! He is especially fussy at night and in the am. I gave him jello (sugar free) last night since he wasn't eating much dinner. he loved it. he couldn't get enough of it. I figured it would feel good on his gums. He also loves these minute maid frozen juice bar things i eat! Sunday- we are going to the Texas State Fair. It's a huge deal in Dallas and we live only 20 min away. of course it is TX-OU weekend here- they play every year at the cotton bowl, which is on the fair grounds. So the city is packed full of folks from OK and Austin, getting drunk. The fair is always a lot of fun and one of the biggest in the US. Plus the fair grounds is where alot of the museums are located- the science, natural history etc. So we should have a good time- time to eat some corny dogs, and try the latest fried food. It's a contest every year to see what is new.....this year they have chicken fried bacon. :confused3 :rotfl: :lmao:

Michelle, I love state fairs! Hope you have fun at yours, even with the craziness.

Do you get those little cinnamon-sugar mini-donuts at yours? The ones at the MN state fair are Tom Thumb brand, and they make them right there and they're all hot and greasy and sooo yummy! I craved them the whole time I was pregnant, and we never found anything like it out here, so this year when we were back in MN during the state fair, I told DH we had to go just so I could get the mini-donuts! We took a picture of me eating them and a picture of the bag next to Owen. :lmao:

So I've talked to DH about the DLR trip, and he said he's totally fine with me going!! :cool1: He's nervous about Owen going, though, because he's afraid we'll be stupid and keep Owen awake instead of letting him nap, and make him go on scary rides, and just generally mess with the boy. DH is SUCH a nervous dad! I told him that I read all kinds of great tips for taking babies to DL or WDW, and he said "but you don't know anyone who's done it." So I said "I know lots of people on the DIS-boards who have taken babies/toddlers to WDW." and DH just rolled his eyes and said "Yeah, Disney crazy people! I mean normal people who don't go all nutso over Disney trips and daydream about going all the time!" :rotfl2: So apparently we're all nutso crazy Disney people! :rotfl:

But he's mostly persuaded that we'll be good with Owen, especially since we're doing 3 days in the parks, and some people do both parks in one day. (those would be the "crazy nutso Disney people" DH keeps talking about! :laughing: )

DH probably won't go, but hooray! I get to go to Disneyland!!!!!! I haven't been there since I was in 2nd grade...so I'd better get back to memorizing the layout. I know I'm going to be totally confused, since I know MK so well.
