I was up all night and early this morning and nothing I tell you nothing. I went to lay down and took my laptop. All I can hear is popping from the chat site and it kept me up for a while but then I passed out. Then I'm rudely interupted by Dr.'s office calling to comfirm appointment for Monday. Other people calling about other stuff that I have no memory of. Hope it wasn't important . How dare they call me when I'm trying to win a $1 room.

I've been reading this thread in hopes of hearing of more Dis $1 wins.

You were talking about snow and I have a funny story to tell.

When I was a kid, my dad packed up the car and us kids and drove us two hours to Big Bear so we could see the snow. Living in L.A., we never SAW snow before and I was so excited. I mean, we saw it on TV and watched movies with the kids playing in the snow and it looked like so much fun!

So, we drive up there, and we find a clearing and dad opens the van door and my sister and I jump out into the snow and I cried.

No one told me snow was cold. And I was terribly wet all of the sudden too. I went back into the van and refused to go back outside.

You know that movie "Rat Race" ? Where the people are in Vegas and they are chosen to compete in a race to Silver City and the first one to get there and get to the locker wins like $1,000,000? Turns out all the really high rollers in Vegas are actually watching them and betting on who will win!

I picture this going on somewhere with us. They are all watching our addresses and making huge bets on which ones will give up and which will stick it out.

Nothing's happened because the times were very early this morning....even if the times people got the video were not all the same they were all in three relative blocks of time....so I think we won't have a shot until after midnight Eastern Time....and if that is the case, I think it won't go off again until the morning again, so we don't have to stay up all night again...LOL!
