Ok creative thinkers…need your help please!

Hello, our grandson (6 years old) will be finished with summer day camp at the end of this week, his parents mostly work from home, school doesn’t start until after Labor Day. He doesn’t necessarily need babysitting, nor does he want that. His parents are A-OK if he wants to chill out at home. In case he gets bored, we want to make him a coupon book of fun things that he enjoys around our town (Ie breakfast at a local diner, an hour or two at a great park, the library, a trip to an inside bounce/climbing place etc). I am also adding some silly ones-Ie clean grandma’s house.

I need a couple of ideas of more silly ones-…but I just cannot think of anything other than clean grandma’s house. Any ideas of other silly stuff?

I don't want to dull your creative shine but I kinda feel like this is unnecessary.

Why not simply tell him you'll take him to breakfast one day and to the park another day and the library another day especially if you're willing and able to have him call you to "cash in" a coupon at any time in the next week to do those things.
Maybe just tell him hey we can do one fun thing per day so you're not getting too bored at home while your parents are working.

One of those things could be going to Grandma's for the afternoon.

My siblings are older and had kids well before me. I’d help out watching them sometimes. One thing my nieces and nephews all fondly remember to this day is our ‘playground hunting’ together. I’d drive them to a playground, let them play for 30 minutes, and then drive to next playground… rinse and repeat, hitting 3 or 4 playground in one afternoon. They loved it!

These are some great ideas.
I won’t be doing the find-a-park, as there is one fabulous park in our area, that has about 50 things to do, the rest all pale in comparison. I love the idea though!

I kind of like reading him either a math or science textbook for an hour. I’m sure he would not pick this option . But again, that is what I am looking for! Crazy ideas!

We actually have a craft room in our house, so I think an afternoon in the craft room might make a fun coupon, and I didn’t even think about that. Maybe I need to have a shopping trip to the dollar store for extra craft room stuff!

No washing cars with a toothbrush…my husband would FLIP, but…I pay monthly for unlimited car washes…his 4 year old brother loves going through the car wash, so, perhaps, I might add one to get hippopotamus poop off the car. The goal is for something funny…

When my daughter was around that age, I handed her one of my cameras and took her on a "photo safari", meaning we'd go to a park and she would take pictures of a variety of subjects she found in the park.

For a truly ambitious time, we used yarn and small bells to rig up a little maze that her, my niece and nephew had to climbing and around without the bells ringing. Think of like a laser maze. It kept them busy for quite some time and we made it work in a small space.

Buy a pack of sculpey clay. My kids loved using it around that age. It’s great for building fine motor skills too and we still have a bunch of fun little clay figures they made long ago. I had an old toaster over we used to bake them in.
