Bumping my own edit: FYI: I was pretending to pay for a cool cruise - Visa, Mastercard or American Express only. I was using my Discover. And from what I read on another fourm, no debit cards. Guess I'm out because all we have are Discover Cards, except for our debit cards. DH and I each have a Discover.


What I'm wondering is if your debit is Visa branded don't they have ato accept it? I've used it at stores that say no debit cards and it works.

Anybody successfully use a debit card?

I used my visa debit card with no issues. I think people are meaning those gift type debit cards.

As for the debit card thing:

My sister's ressie was kicked out, supposedly according to LMT because hers (and many others) debit cards are blocked by their respective banks. You should check & see if your bank blocks international internet transactions as a safety precaution. Not all banks do this. But if yours does, your ressie could get declined.

In my sister's case this was not true (she physically went to her bank and they showed no attempts to access her debit card). BUT I would be sure to check this with your bank. I know I have read that others on SD have had this issue and lost their $1 rooms.

I think I am about to stop for today. I get up for work at 3am and have been a zombie this week (and last) due to this sale. I have to get some sleep!

I know what you mean - I was sick when my sister lost her All Star room for April school vacation. They really don't have alot of money and my sister so wanted to do a family vacation. Actually, I am still sick when I think about LMT messing it up somehow. There was plenty of time on that darn clock and we had quadrupled checked all the info before submitting. I know it was not wrong.

You are right! We all won because we all got to chat with new people and venture out from our usual forums. I am in the family section on the Disboutiquers forum. But because of this I got to chat with new people and share the ...umm...fun... of this contest.

It has been fun, something to do during the day and when it is all said and done, I am still going to Disney, just using my points as I had planned months ago.

I sure hope more Disers win tomorrow and Friday.

This morning things were very busy for a couple hours and it has seemed pretty quiet since mid-morning.

Not everyone got the clock at the same time but they were definitely clustered so I'm hoping to see the same thing still this evening.

Well school was canceled here again tomorrow, so guess who will be here till late tonight and all day tomorrow. I am thinking of getting started again tomorrow about 6am est.
