The New,New Hotel Thread-Yes, We're STILL Waiting

Or even try doing a Ctrl + F5 (at the same time). I think that forces it to load the new page instead of using the cached one...

I tried this and deleting everything but still no dice. Oh well as long as I still have a chance at seeing the video. pixiedust:

Did I miss anything over dinnertime?

I was getting the August press release yesterday and I did see the video with not enough time left (and no, I haven't gotten any warning messages and yes, I had deleted cookies and still had it) today, I have the January one.

I was curious about the speculation that this mornings rounds of deals accounted for the 15 minutes. If that is the case, we should have all gone to bed and slept all day instead of sitting here. So I called LMT and asked. The guy I talked to said that it is 15 minutes per person essentially. It is set up on a regional rotation so if my region was at 4 am and I missed it, there should be more to come (unless of course I was up for the 2 earlier ones this morning, in which case, I'm out of luck for today)

I also asked about when the promotion is over and he told me midnight tomorrow. When I asked him about the message on the monk video, he said he knew nothing about it

I guess I'll keep going but I know it wont be as late as last night

Thank for posting this. It's good to know.

Did you try to sign in and out of the LMT site? That seems to help most! :thumbsup2

do you have to keep refreshing the screen or will the timer just pop up IF it ever pops up! I have been on LMT all day. Nothing. I refresh every now and then but I do not have to keep refreshing do I? I feel like the guy on Lost pushing the buttom every 108 minutes!

I was on LMT faithfully from 11:00pm until I finally booked a room at 5;30am. I had LMT, DIS and maybe one other site that I was looking at and would just minimize everything but LMT. I NEVER hit refresh. Like some of the PP'S said, I had also read that hitting refresh over and over might trigger something fishy. I did find that after entering my information and then doing a search, when I clicked on the "hotels" tab, that is what brought the video up. So I kinda used the hotels tab like refresh. I'd go to "destinations" and see the weather in France, and then click on "hotels". I'd play around with a cruise, then click on the "hotels". I'd log in and out every 30 minutes or so and click "hotels". That is what worked for me.

In the past 24 hours, I've learned more about geography than I did in my high school days. :rolleyes1

Also, if any of you haven't done it yet, I would recommend doing a phantom booking, just so you know what the screens look like when you get there (and you WILL get there). It's amazing how you start shaking once that stupid clock starts the tick tocking in your ears!! :scared:

OK I have a couple of questions....

If everyone gets their fifteen minutes then does that mean you can miss it while you are not signed on. In other words if I live in EST then everyone in that time zone get a chance at 4, 7 and 10 lets say. Or does this mean that I sign on and then I get three chances.

Are these chances daily or are then a three time shot if your not signed on or you don't see the bleeping thing you out of luck?

How the heck do they know where I am in the region? Is is my IP address??

And finally for any computer geeks out there. If I have a seperate IP address for my work computer, which I can access through a VPN which basically lets me take over my PC at work, do you think that will look like I am on two computers from one IP address since I am accessing that from my computer here. :crazy2:

Hey, just read this in the Terms & Conditions of the "contest"...

"You may only make one Dollar Booking during any given Campaign and Booking Period. A Booking Period may begin and end on any day during Monday through Friday inclusive (typical work week). For example, if you book a Dollar Booking on a Monday and a Wednesday during the same week, the Company shall void all of your bookings. "

What does this mean for people who are saying they have multiple trips booked? I hope it doesn't make them null and void???

Then I wonder what that means for those of us that have seen people in our region winning left and right while we are sitting here surfing thru these pages and we see NOTHIN!! Wonder why that is??

Yeah I am curious about this too since I was online and looking around the site when a bunch of ladies from Virginia won yesterday. :confused3

Everyone must either be off winning rooms or passed out from exhaustion.:faint:
I had to go amke dinner. I'm back for a little while.

Okay I am really late for this party... Can someone give me a quick tutorial. I have registered on LMT and I am getting ready to put my CC# and info in a word doc so I can copy and paste. I know the hotel I want, do I need a second??

Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.

When you imput your CC# DO NOT add the spaces. (I'm paying for that mistake :guilty: )

how far can we go into the phantom booking before making a booking. I'm wondering if I want to enter my cc#

Ok..I just ate my fill of pork lo mein. That should be sufficient to give me enough heartburn that I can't sleep all night and I can stay on here.
