Well, our troop leader is National Guard. So she can get the troop out there to the ski area. And the base has a nice chalet and skiing/sledding area. They have tow ropes on the tubing hill. The military bases are almost like there own little cities. Most i have been on are very nice.

Ok now I'm confused. As I understand it ski area that have lifts of some type are placed on a hill. Runways that the AF uses are as flat as possible. So is the ski area on the base?

It is in the very back of the base behind the flight line. And its not a gigantic mountain, it a decent sized hill.

Sara... that is nice looking art work.. I especially like the hummingbird. And the various shades of blue. What kind of computer do you use and programs for the graphics? I have been interested and still am in learning how to do this type of work. Maybe even professionally one day.

i use a windows XP, and i use photo shop creative suite 5, photo shop elements and photo shop fireworks, although to do the siggies and that artwork it's just phot shop elements 9 or photoshop creative suie 5
